Good round up! Was wondering if any of these shops offer tourist tax-free for individual slabs, or for packs/boxes ? and if they accept being charged with credit cards. Thanks in advance!

Yeah some shops will offer Tax Free such as Suragaya, Mandarake & Book-Off. I’d say 90% of shops accept card. Sometimes having cash with you is good as they’ll offer a tiny discount with a cash only payment :)

Hey thanks! Full art trainers from sword and shield onwards are quite cheap at the moment. I would start there and then work your way back. Depending on what you like you can be more picky with the older ones are they can be quite pricey in Japanese :)
