The trifecta of great truck camper videos is Dispersed Camper Man, Kenny of All Trades, and Work Less, Travel More. You guys are the ones I love watching the most, after seeing literally everything else over the past two years as I dream of retirement. Thank you so much.

I've said it before Mark, you make some interesting & informative videos. Never been in that area, but Lord willing, I will one day. Suggestion, talk about the rack & mount on the front of your Ford. It looks handy as heck, I might could get some ideas for my old Chevy truck. One admonishment.... be careful and don't slip on those rock trails going into the mountains. You're much younger than my 71 years, afraid I'd be really slow. Travel safe.

Yeah some of the roads look a little sketchy 😂. You’re correct about the rain, it would be a mess. Quiet though and no one around. Lots of petroglyphs 👍🏼

We enjoy your videos and do hope to travel out west one day. We live in Louisiana and just recently bought a truck camper. We travel to Arkansas several times a year sxs riding and camping. We love the area and not to far from home. We are looking at being in the Albert Pike / Little Missouri area in May. Looking for best dispersed camping options with the truck camper. Considering something possibly off of NFW 106 or something closer to Little Missouri Falls. We have been to Crooked Creek Falls in the Jeep but can't remember well enough if we could safely get the truck camper down and up the hill. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Keep the videos coming!!!

I have been camping off of FR 106 right on Blaylock Creek. There are several dispersed camping spots on that road. When I was there, the roads weren't too bad, I did take my truck and camper down them. Crook Creek Falls is also a great little spot to camp near. Here are the videos on camping there. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWawgI1mn8t8h7c kzbin.info/www/bejne/poC8nHemrdKNkNE kzbin.info/www/bejne/rnyToX-pjdydis0 You can also check out my map of dispersed camping spots around that area, click on a spot you are interested in and it'll show you the video of that spot. Hope this helps. www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1r4UEzs1eXajvKIt4YccrZ9wAAn86qmMS&usp=sharing

Excellent. Including your trail cameras, how many cameras were used for this video? You saved the best part for last. That place would be worth hiking to if my vehicle couldn’t make it safely.

I had a trail cam, iphone camera for my vlogging, dji mavic air 2, and gopro. I think that was all of them on this one. LOL It's a pretty neat spot to check out for sure!

Hi Mark. Did you have to use four wheel drive, when you were in the sandy part of the road? That is my type of terrain. Leah and I spent a few days riding in Utah, during spring break. It was a great time. Little cool in the morning, though. We went to a few places on our side by side and saw a lot of petroglyphs. We came across a few of the sign in stations, like that one. Your drone footage is excellent. Over the years we have visited several petroglyph sites in different states. Looks like the same artist made them all, Lol. Have a great day 👍
@DispersedCamperMan
@DispersedCamperMan 2 жыл бұрын
No, I never engaged my four wheel drive. I just stayed in the ruts and it was fine. They probably did make the same petroglyphs, they moved around alot. LOL They are pretty neat to check out. It's like a letter through time.

Nice, thx for the coordinates, we will check it out next year when we are down there. I have a question about your genset, looks like you an extended run tank hooked up to it. Have you made a video of the hook up?

Hey Mark great video as usual. I would like to ask you about your rope lights. Are you still using them. On the ground or in the engine compartment. What is the best use.
@DispersedCamperMan
@DispersedCamperMan 2 жыл бұрын
While traveling out west in arizona, I would place my solar light ropes underneath my engine at night, and open the hood over night. I don't know if it prevents rats from chewing on wires, but so far so good. I haven't had any so far.

I love your videos and have went to many of the places you have shown in Arizona . I have a theory that everyone else has scoffed at , that the younger natives made these petroglyphs while the grandparents babysat them and the parents were out hunting and gathering I’m not an artist but I think I could make something more detailed What do you think of my theory?
@DispersedCamperMan
@DispersedCamperMan 2 жыл бұрын
That's a pretty good theory. It would explain the kindergarteners looking drawings for sure. LOL

Great video! Was it 95 degrees? The one camera said it was and man that's hot for this time of year but it's AZ in the spring.

I was there in January, the camera was showing 50 degrees fahrenheit. 95 would have been a scorcher for sure.

Hi Mark. Once again, no one on the web does such a good job of sharing coordinates and road travel circumstances as well as you do. I have had a question for a while. I have a small adventure bike like your Rally. I've seen you go into various towns, take tours while leaving your bike outside. How do you secure it and aren't you always a bit concerned? Those bikes are so darn light, one jerk can just throw them into a pickup truck.
@DispersedCamperMan
@DispersedCamperMan 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for that! As for my bike, I don't really worry about it. I do lock the steering wheel prior to leaving my bike, and I also cover it with a light motorcycle cover and leave my jacket, helmet, gloves on my bike. I've had no issues. If someone's going to steal it, it's going to happen no matter what you do. No use in worrying about it is the way I feel. It's not going to stop me from getting out there and exploring with it. Thanks for watching Paul!

Love your videos…we were just wondering, since you boondock all the time…do you ever worry about vandalism or anyone bothering your camper or stuff while you’re away from it? Thanks again, & keep it up! (LOVE the AZ videos) 🌵🌵🌵🌵
@DispersedCamperMan
@DispersedCamperMan 2 жыл бұрын
I've been boondocking for over five years now. I've never had an issue with vandalism yet. I'm also rarely away from my camping spot longer than two-three hours at a time. You are more likely to get vandalized in a campground then out boondocking. Hope this helps.

Not only crack the hood but sprinkle some Cheyenne Pepper around the engine bay as well...I've seen those rats do some severe damage to other people's vehicles. Why the hell they want to chew up rubber and foam is beyond me, but that pepper screws them up real good.
@DispersedCamperMan
@DispersedCamperMan 2 жыл бұрын
I'll do the cheyenne pepper soon. Thankfully I haven't had any damage yet. I've camped right on kangaroo rat holes. I've been lucky!
