It can also be said what he didn't do for the company either. Instead of working on a new plan for the company and work on trying to make the company profitable, he just went and sold off assets.

I think they have been just moving stock from store to store for years as they close. So the good stuff is running out like shoes, the stuff people rarely buy like appliances is full.

There are actually 13 nonclosing Sears left: Here is a list of those locations: 1 Concord, California 2 Burbank, California 3 Stockton, California 4 Whittier, California 5 Orlando, Florida 6 Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 7 Miami, Florida 8 Tukwila, Washington 9 Union Gap, Washington 10 Braintree, Massachusetts 11 Jersey City, New Jersey 12 El Paso, Texas 13 San Juan, Puerto Rico. There are also 6 nonclosing Kmarts left. Here is a list of those locations: 1 Bridgehampton, New York 2 Miami, Florida 3 Tauming, Guam 4 St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands 5 St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands (Tutu Park Mall) 6. St. THomas, U.S. Virgin Islands (Lockhart Gardens Shopping Mall) There is also a Sears Mexico, which is a separate company, and a Kmart Australia, which is also a separate company

Actually apparently the Jersey City Newport mall of NJ is a closing one. Iirc also one of the 2 in Washington state is also closed,

This Whittier Sears was originally “The Broadway” Dept Store. Sears bought and remodeled it in the 1990’s I remember this area. It was originally the Whittwood Mall and my Sister and I would go a store called “ In gear” which was kind of like a Spencer’s. But it had more games and fun stuff. The food court in the mall had an arcade and a Krikorian Cinema in the southwest corner of the complex.

Well now idk if I would say all or no on cash just rather Cash/Debit fwiw to appeal more probably hoping that if denit is accepted that is forward compatible with mobiles being used if peeps actually simply hold their phones purportedly it hopefully would be sure to catch on... maybe for ig contactlessness but otherwise feels only a vulnerability to do cirrency that way but whatever if it appeals and resuscitates the brand and stores and customers.

Insider info: although the escalator is closed, it's possible to access the 3rd floor via elevator. As of a few months ago, the hearing aid inset area was still open (customers are instructed to take the elevator to get there). Until a year ago, the appliance overstock storage was on the 3rd floor, with only a few samples downstairs.

Don't really have any reason to travel to Washington soon. I only have the opportunity to film if work or travel takes me there. Puerto Rico is next early next year because I have to travel there for my job.

@@retailrecord I would actually like to see that, the Concord store is the only store left in all of the San Francisco Bay Area with the exception of I think Stockton. I worked at the Newark and Hayward locations at least 15+ years ago.
