Hello all, my name is Sumeran Govender. I am from Durban, South Africa.
Durban, a coastal city on the east coast of South Africa, is known for its African, Indian and colonial influences.
Durban is the third biggest city in South Africa by population and is situated in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Fun fact……. Durban has the largest Indian population outside of India. Indentured labourers were once brought to Durban to work in the sugarcane fields. We are now a part of Durban’s culture, adding a twist to everything from local fashion to food flavours.
I started this channel in November 2022. Follow me for camping adventures where I will be exploring my city and trying to see if I can manage to keep myself fed with various recipes that I will try in each video.

Scottsburgh Caravan Park is an excellent site, its unfortunate that the sound of the waves made your night uncomfortable. One of the benefits of outdoor camping are the sounds of nature...soon you will discover that the sound of the waves are actually soothing and extremely therapeutic. Maybe as an alternative to the coast try Karkloof in the Natal Midlands or Injusuthi in the Berg. Enjoy !!!

Beautiful. One of the things you can start doing, is to review the campsites you visit. Shoe us the facilities the campsites offer. How to get there abs so on. You are at a beautiful campsite and most of us would love to have the same experience. Make your videos more informative and less about you. Just a suggestion

Ill say this and most wont believe it . Durban Coast is better than California Coast. Indian ocean is warm , our pacific ocean is cold 😫

I will have to take your word for it as I have never been to California but yes Durban and the Indian Ocean is always warm. We don't really get a winter here 😃

@@SumeranGovender trust me bro , beaches here arent swimmable unless you have a wet suit. Its cold along the pacific ocean coast. Some beaches in Southern Cali are good during the extreme hot summer months
