I am currently in the process of rebuilding my MZ ETZ250 engine for the inner race of one of the main crankshaft bearings does not have interference fit anymore with the crankshaft, just like yours! In the end I did buy a new crankshaft- but the likelihood of finding replacement 'pins' that come from the centre of the weights outwards (that the clutch, or generator then utilise) is impossible to find on their own for me, so I had to buy new crankshaft (and new bearing).

I did a dumb thing on my Nsu quickly. I didn’t have the correct flywheel puller ( I do now) but it’s too late as I’ve mushroomed/ distorted the thread which holds on the flywheel. I will need at some point a machine shop to re thread the bolt and find a matching nut.. 😬

Uh I have done something like that many times.... Trying to save a bit on not getting the right tool and then making a mess of it! :) Part of the Journey! Hope all is well!

Hejsa, jeg har sat tysk 1,7 cylinder og 12mm karburator på min Nsu og først forsøgt med en 64 dyse når jeg hurtigt gav gas tøvede motoren lidt før den så kom op i omdrejninger og igang. Er dette ikke et tegn på lidt for mager blanding? Fordi satte så en 66 dyse i og det hjalp når gassen blev givet hurtigt at der ikke var tøven og tomgangen blev også mere jævn og kunne justeres lidt længere ned så den ikke skulle stå så højt for at holde sig igang. Her er et videklip af den med 66 dyse så kan du måske fortælle om det lyder rigtigt eller om jeg har misforstået signalerne ved for lille dyse og derfor dårlig gas respons og tøven fra motoren, men jeg mente helt bestemt at tøven ved hurtig gas og et båååååh lyd fra motoren efterfulgt af en stigning i omdrejninger var pga lidt for lille dyse, som du kan se på videon med 66 dyse er der ingen tøven. Lad mig vide hvad du tænker er jeg helt gal på den?😮🎉🎉 Mange hilsner Lars.

At around 10:50: no, you don’t need 2 number 10s. You need 4, because the 10 mm socket always goes missing!
