Love how low it sits at the start of the video, theres something really comical about a slammed 2cv since the high soft suspension is such a large part of its character

But you should see the racing versions of the 2CV/Ami/Dyane!
@joshuaharrison9331Ай бұрын
I'd drive it like that!

@leslieaustin151 yeh but no racing azu's, I'd love to see someone race a mehari too, although not necessarily on road

I absolutely love the fact the brake fluid reservoir is glass. No idea why, as it's heavier and much more fragile but I love it.

The person that invents the open-ended ratchet spanner will have riches beyond the imagination!

@@jasperdemann5936 isn't that what the crowfoot spanner bits are for?
@keithjohnson3550Ай бұрын
I have a set. I got them from an agricultural supply shop. I've hardly used them since I got them. 😂

@@groeacht8525 They don't ratchet, do they? 🤷🏽♂️
@keithjohnson3550Ай бұрын
@jasperdemann5936 Yes, they are a little awkward to use, but in the right conditions would be very useful. I paid about £40 for a set of about 6 or 7 but I've seen them on the Internet for about £25

Great series to watch the progress of the rebuild. I have never worked in a 2CV so seeing the quirks and genius things together is fantastic..

I love how simplistic and reliable everything is, such a good video series ❤

Hi Seppo, many thanks for action packed, informative and entertaining video. It must have taken much effort to produce and we do thank you for that. From Nr Chester UK.

Seppo, I've seen maybe 1 2CV in my life in the United States. It's super cool to watch this come to life. And to watch you try to cram yourself in that tiny seat

What an interesting vehicle. Amazing to think that thing can actually drive on roads with modern vehicles. Good work.

Very nice car, love it. Would like to have one myself. For the brakes I would advice to switch to DOT5 brake fluid, silicone, I did that 15 years ago with my 61 peugeot 404, never problems with leaking seals or corrosion again. You have to clean everything well with alcohol before doing that. Like your channel.

That's a whole lot of progress! I'm interested to see what your solution to restoring the seats will be. The driver's seat is, indeed, a bit scary at the moment.
