@@loganatori6117 The "Red Shirts" was a Star Trek trope where, in order to avoid killing or really threatening actual characters, threats would typically be shown at the cost of a standard crew member that didn't matter. They were often just random crew members in red shirts Hence, to show that the dust cloud man was a big jerk that could kill people, the writers showed that at the cost of the life of some random new guy in the standard red uniform. A Red Shirt fulfilling the trope
