This Video helped me so much and it worked by my first try, so happy. I tried it so many times before, but I was always focused on the t shape of my feet, instead of just moving my upper body and it's so easy. Thank you so much 🤩

You are great thanks.... still working on other stuff you taught but I will add this to the list and come back and watch a few more times. I always wanted to do this stuff but didn't know where to start. I like the way you break it down. I still need a lot more strength to stay on the front wheels but it is getting better all the time. I found that if I don't push too hard it falls into place easier. So sometimes I wind up with my skates on a couple of times a day, but not for as long. I am still taking advantage of the rinks being closed in our area to work on some of the finer points. THANKS

You're welcome! Take breaks is a good way to not only let the muscles rest but also the CNS, Central Nervous System, rest as well. Sometimes our bodies can't keep up with our will to keep practicing. 🙂

@@Andvilsk8s sorry for the late reply...going ok. been trying to get the corkscrew to be more fluid. I make it about 2 times around and can't keep momentum. Spins are better to my left than my right, and I'm a righty.

This has made sense, locking your legs 🤔

Does it have to be done on toes? I’ve seen variations of the corkscrew not on toes I’m not sure if they’re called the same thing, but I love it!
@Andvilsk8s2 жыл бұрын
I know the other version you're talking about, its called the Cross Spin. That one is done with the feet positioned Heel-Toe. I have that move on my list of moves to make tutorials on. 😊
