Season 2 starts off so DARK IN THEME, and yet the performances through the entire season are so top-notch that you absolutely get sucked into every story-line that you almost FORGET the fact that they are actually the direct results of what happened in season 1 in regard to Darby and his failures.

Ahh season 2 are you ready for this jay.. i like your explanation on the last episode of season one about the characters. They are bad folks but this highlights that even most bad folks have a human side. Friends and family that they love whom love them. Its funny that a show can make us see this point and we just ignore it in life. Compassion and understanding is what we need more of in this crazy world. This season premiere was in 2009 and Taylor Sheridan as Deputy Hale was just starting and I guess getting a taste of acting here!! But looking back now and actually realizing that THIS guy would turn into one of the biggest powerhouses, and one of the most talented writers of Americana, that we probably have ever known!! I was hoping you'd end up picking a show on interest versus a poll, but at the same time I figured you'd probably do a poll lol. I don't think you have much of a Black audience, so they wouldn't have even seen Top Boy to suggest or vote for it and most Americans (saying this as an American) don't gravitate toward British shows in general so they wouldn't have seen Gangs of London either. Damn Shame cause both are phenomenal. I did see someone suggest Rescue Me w/Denis Leary. which is a show that centers around firemen. That show is such an underrated gem and miles ahead of its time. I also saw a few suggestions for Vikings which is another phenomenally written series as well. Whatever you go with, I just hope it's not something 50 other channels are already doing, cause a lot of viewers tend to go from channel-to-channel voting for the same shows and its getting boring and repetitive at this point lol.
