The Wheel of Time is an American high fantasy television series developed by Rafe Judkins for Amazon Prime Video. The series is based on the book series of the same name by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. Moiraine Damodred, a member of the Aes Sedai, a powerful organization of women who can channel the One Power, seeks a group of five young people from the secluded village of Two Rivers, believing one of them is the reincarnation of the Dragon, an extremely powerful male channeller responsible for the Breaking of the World. The Dragon Reborn is prophesied to either save the world from a primordial evil known as the Dark One or break it once more.

I know Sulin doesn't show up until Fires of Heaven, but she's one of the best, so if we can get her a little bit early, that would be amazing (Though tbh I just hope she shows up at all, because she's a character they could cut if the cast gets too big). Honestly, so many of the Aiel characters, like the Wise Ones are going to be great. And Couladin is such a deranged idiot, they could have a lot of fun with that one.

@@roadtotarvalon He's a huge part of books 4 and 5 even though we don't actually get a lot of scenes with him in it, we don't even really see his death (which I hope we will in the show). And to me he's a much better villain than Sevanna, who imho often comes off as just a worse Elaida

Agreed re: Faile. People hate her over the top and fail to see her strengths. Aside from the Deven Ride moment you mention and her being the power behind the power that is Ferrin, she does so much more in the story that is unappreciated by the collective fandom. Yes, she has character flaws (many of them accentuated by unusual Saldaean customs), but she is young (only 18!), and Perrin “smells” her emotions, which contaminates the reader’s perspective. Also, think about her accomplishments with Cha Faile, the Malden plotline, the conclusion of the Masema plotline, and for Light’s sake the bloody Horn of Valere!

I don't agree that Gawyn is 'annoying'. He faffs around a lot, but that makes him probably the most human of the more major characters - he doesn't magically know what to do, is a bit overconfident at times, and unsure at other times.

@@roadtotarvalon Oh, I wouldn't say I was a fan :) I just think he is more of a realistic character than some of the others, and certainly don't hate him. Too many stories have these super characters who somehow know exactly what to do, or don't make mistakes, and if they do it miraculously works out for the best. Gawyn is just an ordinary kind of human who happens to have been born into unusual privilege and opportunity, and does his best with that (and as noted by you guys, tries to protect his sister who, being one of those super characters, doesn't really need him).

This is not only slander but literally wrong also FYI they are around the same age in the books do not bring age into it. He is at most 2years older then her in the books. In the show she is NOT 16 they are all aged up so do not even try to bring it up. The reason why what you say us slander is because he would not actually do it and she knows it. She is using him she is manipulating him all the time. There are even some parts you could say she is abusing him.
