Chris Nunez is the worst judge that you could get. He's inconsistent, narrow-minded, subjective, plays favorites (Tatu Baby) and is petty enough to take revenge on people who disagree with him. He has neither personal qualities nor skills to judge others. I'm surprised they kept him as a judge for so many seasons.

4:04 Can you imagine having him as an EMT? Being in pain and stuck in an ambulance while he insists on using big words incorrectly and stroking his own ego. The musculature doesn't even look correct in his tattoo for all his big talk.

I am sorry for the rant I am about to go on, your comment is great and I really can’t stand Mystical Mike. Here goes: As someone who is studying to be an EMT, you are 1,000,000% correct. Honestly, I could not imagine having to deal with Mystical Mike in the field. I would move cities if he was my partner on shift or assigned to my rig. On top of the current EMT course I am actively enrolled in, I went to 2 years of nursing school to be an RN (I was paying for uni myself and could not afford to finish only being able to work a pt job. I am doing the EMT course first to make some money while being a part of medicine. Eventually I’ll go back and finish nursing) and every medical professional that has to take any degree of course work (Doctor, Dentist, RN, LPN, EMT, CNA, Lab tech, Flobotomist etc…) all know that you should communicate as directly, simply, and effectively as possible. Big words and medical terms are confusing and make can make you seem arrogant and make the patient feel like you see them as a diagnosis or a set of symptoms and not a person. It is a huge no no. Not only do I think he is an absolute ass, I also think that he is not an EMT, he has never been an EMT, and I am pretty sure that his “expertise in human anatomy” is from a children’s book about the human body. I think he uses big words that do not pertain to the subject at hand to mask the fact that he is an insecure, talentless, narcissistic liar.

At least the two face tattoo looked like two face. Yeah flipping the image was wrong as it changed the history of the character but people would still recognise him at two face. The Poison Ivy looks more like something out of monster high.

3:53 that isn’t a music note… the primary notes in music are Whole, Half, Quarter, Eighth, Sixteenth, and Thirty-second. What you have there is a G-/Treble Clef. A clef determines how the notes/pitches on the staff line up, a note is used to *notate* what pitch is being being played.

It really wasn’t, but this show is bullshit in the sense that they always try to find a loophole or a detail to justify getting rid of certain artists they don’t want to progress. It’s not even subtle, the judges constantly go against their own criteria for criticism all the time.

This show really should’ve had the judges approve the stencils before they were tattooed. Yeah it’s funny to see a bad tattoo but some poor sucker is walking around with that trash permanently on their body. I’m not saying they should point out every little thing but they should point out the big mistakes like the severed samurai head.

I agree ,Tatu baby should have never made it to finals. And jimi not following the rules also. It's not his shop, and do your own tats. I also hated the fact of all of them gaining up on Josh. Yes he had a smart mouth at times, but all of them did. Most of hid tats were way better than Jason and Tatu babies. Nunez played fans with her for sure. And IMO on comic book day, he should have won , and also portrait day. They said the guy she did totally looked like him, which was an out Right lie. It's supposed to look exactly like the photos, yet she changed some things. Like the collar on the t- shirt, she made it look like leather and shine. That's not in the photo ,yet they praised her for it, also she put his eyes opened wide and a light color, but in the photo their more closed because he's smiling, plus they are dark brown color and she added white high lights. They praised her for that change too. She tatted his teeth dirty looking, yet photo they are white, she added extra laugh lines around mouth and flattened his ear to his head. Also put a really dark spot on his bottom lip that draws your eye right to it and makes you think he's got a bottom rotten tooth. So no she did not deserve tat of the day. Judges are biased 100.

He didn't get kicked out in season 3 for smoking weed, he got kicked out because he couldn't draw. In season 5 he was removed because he signed a contract stating he wouldn't smoke weed. He agreed to the terms, doesn't matter what they are, he's obligated to follow them. If they said you can't wear shoes in the shop, we might think "okay that's dumb...", but if it's the contract they signed, it's no shoes time!
