The way Vegeta just gets accepted into the group has always been hilarious to me. Vegeta has committed genocide, and never repented for it in any fashion, but he's treated like one of the heroes 5 seconds after returning.

To be fair, death kinda has no consequence in this series. Piccolo literally suggests Buu slaughter normal humans just to buy them time because he knows if they kill Buu they can just wish them back, and if they fail they're all dead anyway. Fuck, the main cast gets murdered and they're just chilling in heaven totally fine until getting wished back. INCLUDING THE CHILD WHICH SUFFERS NO TRAUMA AFTERWARDS! They restore the EARTH and all the people DURING the big fight. On top of that, they specify to only revive GOOD people, not evil ones, so nuking the entire population actually serves to eliminate crime too.

They don't just accept Vegeta into the group. He decides to return to Earth, and Goku isn't back yet. Realistically speaking, every single person on Earth can try and kill Vegeta simultaneously at that point, and he could win that fight with little to no trouble. They don't accept him, they accept that he's back and that they can't do anything about it. Then when Frieza shows, they need his help since Goku still isn't back. After that, they have to prepare for the next incoming crisis and he leaves Earth to prepare, so he isn't in the group at that point, so he still isn't accepted as one of them. After he returns from that training, he still isn't just accepted as one of them, it's still just a case of them needing his help. It isn't until after this whole Saga that he's kind of accepted during the time skip that follows it, and that's only because they've grown so used to him being a non-hostile presence in their lives by this point, as well as the only person on the planet who can kill him or force him to leave not being the kind of person who would do that.

1. "I'm back bitches!" Is the best way to describe Vegeta in Season 3. He's absolutely *hillarious* from start to finish, even more so than season 2. 2. TFS themselves actually admitted that the first half of Season 3 spends a ridicilous amount of time shitting on Yamcha, mainly cause it was hillarious and that they soend the second half kind of apologising for it lol 3. I always found it both hillarious and disturbing that i the oeigonal Vegeta is just kind of *begrudgingly accepted* as a part of the group. There's still some twnsion, but nowhwre nearly as much consequence for Vegeta. It makes some sense for the Buu saga, at which point Vegeta had spent nearly a decade living on Earth without causing trouble, but it was kinda weird here. 8:43 TFS *does* rewrite it in the best way possible. And they do it while introducing the fucking *brilliant* verbal sparring match between him and Tien.

Kyle, you gave her a clue as to who Trunks is when you said his name. Several characters follow a theme naming. For example Piccolo's family are all named after musical instruments. A piccolo is a type of flute and his siblings were named Tambourine, Cymbal, Drum, and Piano. Saiyans are all puns on vegetables, with Goku's Saiyan name being a pun on carrot. Outside of Piccolo's family, the Namekian are based on snails. The list goes on and on. Point is Trunks' family also follows a theme naming.
