I work on this stretch of Greater Anglia for the Crossrail upgrade. I work at Ilford, Goodmayes, Chadwell Heath, Gidea Park, Brentwood & Shenfield. The Metro service will change in a month or so and the new trains will start in a few years.

There is also a new Travel Lodge in Bromley now Ian not too far from Deptford Bridge + Lewisham is a station I pass through regulary when I go to London from New Beckenham - it is about 3 stops down from Lewisham on the Hayes Line

Too uncomfortable and bumpy and bouncy. Compared to the 172s which were built around the same time, the 172s were made with care and precision, the 379s felt like they have just been put together without any consultation of a diagram
