Yep. Maybe smarty meant that from Ezran's point of view, Sol was attacking Katolis for no reason, but us the viewers have a more complete picture. Sol probably thought he was burning sun elves on the battlefield like he was told to do as part of the deal, how could he have known any better?

I don't think that season 7 will fix Ezran. We only have 9 episodes left and there are too many loose ends to really develop Ezran. I give you some "predictions" for Ezran for s7 The novablade is very likely ezrans crown. His crown seems to get featured a lot. Why it is important to know that the crown was made out of a sword? Ezran will "defeat" Aaravos by talking to him. He appeased rex with a jellytart. He seems to be more respected than zubeia if he talks to other dragons. The set up is there. These two predictions are what I expect to happen in s7 at this point.

If I was writing this season here’s what I’d do so ezren snaps and would arrest Runan (Raylas adopted dad) callum trys to calm him down but it doesn’t work and callum is torn between wanting justice for his dad and also fighting for raylas dad while side plot would be arresting the brother of the elf queen that’s episode one. Episode 2 would take place a couple weeks after focusing on callum and Rayla callum choosing to side with her and forgiving runan for what he did as they would find out runan is to be executed side plot would focus on arovos and Claudia enacting shinanigins. Episode 3 as callum and rayla spring their plan into action it fails as ezren predicted this and goes to kill runan but their fathers pet bird shows up and reminds ezren of something his father says in the letter he received or since ezren understands animals he finds out the bird is his dad and veran did the soul swap with the former king and the bird while side plot would focus on Claudias boyfriend trying to convince her not to side with arovos

Honestly I think what will happen will be for the best. Back in season 3, some fanfictions, Karim, his friends and family, even aarovos have said that he is really naive. I know he is still just a kid, but he has to unemployment that not even can be reasoned with like httyd 2 showed us. So I see ezran being blinded by his anger over what has happened and runanan coming back will have him to start lashing out and lose himself for a bit.

Tdp fans listen up, because Netflix didn't green light yet season 8-10, on *November 30th* I want all of us to play the show non-stop, watch it with friends play it at the background while you do something, everything you can do to get Netflix’s attention. Our fandom is bigger than you think, so when all of us will show them that we want this new arc, we convince them to green light it. You should play it a lot anyway to support the show but on november 30th all of us will try our best for the dragon prince. (just to be clear I'm not someone who work on the show or has any connections to the production of the show, I'm just a fan who wants this show to continue so badly...)

Honestly kinda want for this breakdown that Ezran likely has, to teach him something instead of preaching the same damn thing basically all the time! He has been a side charcter for way too long. I would love to see him suffer and he another side of him, not that I like seeing him suffer but it would be a very needed change from his usal way of acting. Just to rant, WHO decided on the sunfire elf plot line! And WHO decided how Rayla and Callum got back fu-freaking together. Thank you.

Runaan does have to pay for what he did to King Harrow. But somehow, I get the feeling King Harrow will be turning in his grave seeing his son Ezran letting hatred consume him somewhat. After all, King Harrow admitted he did terrible things and would have to pay for such. Runaan killed him for those terrible things. I am not saying he was right to do so, I am just saying King Harrow definitely understood where Runaan's actions came from and likely wants Ezran to understand this and forgive Runaan.

I understand that Callum wanted to free Rayla's parents. Rayla herself got the choice which one she wanted to free. Also Callum didn't really get the chance to talk to her father and all, but they should have talked about it before setting her father free. At least Callum should have bannished her father from katolise. Her father killed the king and wanted to kill her and his brother without a real reason (at least her and ezran. There was an other way and dragons can remove the bindings. His job was done as soon as she showed him the egg. Before that moment, everything was justifide, but after that moment nothing more was justice so they should have talked about it before summoning him back. Even without the destruction of the kingdom, its not a good moment to talk about it during a reunion and very awkward for Callum himself to see his own stepfathers murderer.

Either way, I don't think that detail matters. Sol Regem is like Avizandum: they straight up don't care about humans. If Sol was still alive then he wouldn't care that he attacked Katolis. He'd probably pat himself on the back

Ezran is not fit to be king. He’s not the first part of Queen Sarai. I would vote Callum to be King. Callum’s original Lightfoot room because King Harrow stole the throne and stole his mother to have her bear him a son. And he pushed the first door and answer the throne out of the royal family. Harrow was never trustful and he was not a worthy king. He ruined Callum royal family life. I hope Ezra removes himself from the throne and gives the crown to Callum.

What kills me is; Ezran’s stress should have been built up over the seasons. Ever since season 4 Ezran’s kind of been this happy go lucky kid, his only breakdown comes at the end of season six. Yes, since his kingdom’s just been burnt down it makes sense for Ezran to be emotional, and this is enough for him to have a mental breakdown, it would have been way more satisfying to watch Ezran feel stressed by being king and watch him finally snap. Also, I’m a Runaan apologist and I will die on this hill. He would have never had to go kill Harrow if he hadn’t gone into Xadia and killed their king and what was one thought to be the heir as well. Harrow literally admits to this and it’s the soul reason why Harrow decided to stay and die instead of figuring out a way to survive. Harrow knew he screwed up and willingly stayed to die. Is Runaan innocent? No. But the only reason he was in Katolis was because he was given a direct order frok his queen and he had bound himself. Also, I could have sworn in an interview that Runaan was never actually going to kill Rayla. Correct me if I’m wrong about that, but I don’t know why they would change his intentions. The point is, Ezran is allowed to be mad and throw Runaan in jail. I just hope the narrative doesn’t try to make Runaan look like the sole villain when Ezran is literally friends with the person who ordered his father’s hit. Ezran needs to realize that his father’s death was mainly his own fault. You can still love someone while recognizing that their shortcomings were a result of their poor choices.
