Former Lava Lash player here: in some parts I really enjoy being on Wildgrowth where it is way easier to find groups for lower lvl dungeons and the p1 & p2 raids. But on the other hand I kinda miss that you were able to recognise so many players in the open world in Lava Lash as the community was quite small. Also it seems that ppl are less friendly on Wildgrowth than on Lava Lash =/

The server was as big as a regular server in 2004 with medium/high pop. I'm personally going to miss Lava Lash for the same reasons you said above. And I know people are going to be worse personality-wise there on WG. Not happy about the decision one bit.

As someone who was on a Wild Growth NA server prior to the transfers, i welcome all transfers with open arms. Blizzard has to get their shit together and get phase 4 out ASAP. they need to beef up their team, they cant have one team working on 3 different parts of the game. thats unfair to them.

My problem with the whole "We dont have wrong servers." was I'm a No lifer. but from Noon to Midnight it seems on both Chaos bolt and Lava Lash it wasn't hard to find groups for WO farming or anything. BRD was always farming Arena and what not. ZF was WO farm or sword farming. It was tuff for the first month of Gnomer for me (As a rogue) to get into groups because of the high armor mobs. Then it'd die down between midnight and 8 am(PST) but then I'd get farming done before bed. So for J.Q. Regular man i think that'd be great. Months ago the server manager was tweeting about "ManI love the Wrath Mega servers, aren't those super fun! Lets close Chaos Bolt for *Checks notes* dead server..." For what Blizzard wants Server Battlegroups would be the thing. Or the Final Fantasy model where you have your "Home Server" then you can pop over to another server and do your bullshit there then get back to your home server.

I've been on Wild Growth since SOD launch. The last few weekends the number of people on LFG bulletin board has been notably lower. If they are sending people to WG I'd hate to see what the smaller realms look like.

I sent a screenshot of LFG BB to my guildies on discord 2 nights ago around 1 am central and it was dead. A few weeks ago it was popping at all times, and now there's not even summoning services going on.

Yes. I transferred from CB to CS and now I have characters on both factions on CS.

im on LL and there was 0 people on for BfA and 14 in last BM. my guild wants to stick around for some reason so I will. The only problem I have with mega servers is the amount of sweaty parse culture.. other than that make nodes have a delayed despawn like retail so it doesnt screw the economy for farming and its fine with me.

I believe they could be pushing the concept of four total realms. It would be wise to have 2 PvP servers and 2 PvE servers, especially since you can't create different factions on the same server. I could see Blizzard pushing lower server numbers if they removed the faction restriction. Otherwise, you're kinda locked.

@@Kaghoegaming Honestly, if they would have simply implemented a war mode type option, a lot of problems would have been solved. Some players can't migrate off PvP due to having the opposite faction on WG, etc. Honestly, since war mode and opt-in systems are not implemented, a part of me wishes my friends/guild all went to a PvE server. The only reason I'm on a PvP server is due to having RL friends and long time friends on that PvP server. If it was just me, I definitely would not have chosen a PvP server. I was there for classic era 20 years ago and everyone knew it was just a matter of time before things got a bit degenerate with current PvP servers.

@@makoslushie9777you only need 1 PvE server. PvE players prefer crowded servers for PvE content. RP prefer smaller servers because they dont care too much about getting dungeon groups or be part of a big community. PvP prefer to be the minor faction so they got more players to gank in the op3n World.

@@RandySnarsh The reason for multiple instances of the same server type would be due to the faction lock on those servers. So if I wanted an alliance character on PvE and a horde on a PvE server, I would need more than one server.

Yeah, I think we are bound to two mega servers, one pve and pvp, and they would be crusader strike and wild growth

Im on LF and I thhiinnkkkk im going to get ahead of the exodus and xfer off. Just not sure if I want to continue with PVP (which is honestly just annoying) or go PVE

You can transfer all your characters. If you go to CS you can have characters on both factions. I went from CB to LL alliance side, and CS Horde to LL Horde side. Then went LL ally and Horde to CS, both factions.

Lava Lash player here, I think what Blizzard has done has completely fucked us. We had 3 groups clearing 8/8 ST in our guild. None of us wanted to play on mega servers and we genuinely enjoyed RPing. We were on Lava Lash horde side, the smaller of the two factions by a longshot. despite that we never experienced any super bad issues filling groups or anything like that. There is no good option for us to transfer to and this whole thing has ruined the game for us and most of the RP community.

I remain on Lava Lash. Though many fled the first night like Death itself was at their heels. All realms are in decline. P3 killed the season.

P1 and P2 we had a great guild going. Number one alliance side. P3 introduced incursions. And overnight the new meta forced the core members for the first two phases to leave. Friday nite the meta 50s of incursions fled en masse. Maybe by now our "dead" population consists of folks who actually chose to roll on an RP realm.

I have played every kind of classic except dystopian "dead" realm wow. Chaos Bolt's gripe when they were locked. Lava Lash is less then us, so why us? Now our gripe is. Penance is less than us, so why the fuck us Blizzard? Pull your heads out of your ass and merge the three realms.

Penance raid numbers - Ally 735 (80% of the realm pop) Horde 180(20%) Open LavaLash raid numbers - Ally 2020(ONLY 68% of the realm pop) Horde 932(32%) Closed Is this the decision making team that dropped the CATA in cataclysm mode.
