Well if that’s what the players want, but if the wow token comes to era/sod it’s a wrap for me… I’ve been playing since 2005 so it’s obvious i love this dumb game but it’s a shadow of its former self. I will probably just go back to my pre internet consoles. The internet is killing video games. ✌️❤️

Since they aren't planing on going longer for a seasonal server. They won't even let you buy a xfer to a server you want. I highly doubt they'd sell tokens... and specially since you can incursion farm to get 75-150g an hour.

Bringing the wow token to Sod is for sure one of the goals of the dev team. They won’t address botting and then introduce the wow token as a “solution” 😂

Sad to say but I'm done with SoD. I went back to cata and every class is just way more engaging. I'm a big pvp guy and the total absence of pvp runes has finally made me sick of the experiment. It really is insane to me how popular pvp is in the game and how little consideration it gets by the devs.

If they introduce the WoW token to SOD, it will ruin it, plain and simple. This is the last refuge for people who don't want to eat shit with every other version of WoW.

It's a seasonal realm. I don't at all think they will add tokens or other cosmetics in SoD when they don't even know what they'll do with SoD when it's over. Tiny chance services will be allowed like name changes or server transfers, but I don't even think that will be implemented at this point. I think SoD is over half over unless they try to carry it into TBC, which I kinda doubt tbh. The WoW token couldn't be put into SoD imo... it would highlight how broken the economy is... and I think that since WoW is all one subscription, you'd get people with waaaay too much gold in SoD buying too many tokens and really hurting other versions. I'm kinda over SoD though, so maybe I'm a little pessimistic when it comes to the economy etc... it just seems like it's turned into the opposite of what I thought it would be. It's the uiltimate min/maxxers paradise when I thought it would be a nice slow paced way to enjoy the game, but when the most "efficient" things to do are grind incursions or run 10-man dungeons... I just can't find the fun anymore. Also - I do think they are putting a lot of working into banning botters and gold buyers. I have a friend in Asia who plays off hours and he also farms gold for himself a lot, so he goes where it's efficient. He reports people a lot and he regularly gets in game mail saying his reports were successful in getting someone banned. I also know at least one person in our guild was banned for buying gold... so I think there's more going on there than you think, but I also think it's a massive battle that can't just be solved easily by the probably 5 people they actually have working on SoD.

I truly hope they keep the token out of SoD, it would bolster the botting problem to all new heights. They have so many cash grab options in each version, please Blizz... leave this one be. 🤞

Yep, I agree. They already screwed up the economy. If adding the shop makes they pay attention to SOD, sure fine whatever. I guess I can farm gold to buy more game time.

I'm past giving a shit anymore, I don't want it but it's gonna happen and for the most part it's directly the communities fault that it's happening.

Currently, in WoW, we are dealing with such an abundance of bots at every turn that I would give players the opportunity to buy a token. I have nothing against the store either. If someone needs to buy gadgets, skins or mounts, let them buy them.
