if anyone's here in 2020, i do seasonal work in idaho! i moved from vegas from a toxic household and i honestly would recommend it. it changed my life and pushed me so far out of my comfort zone, i wouldn't change a thing. i've met the best people

I'm here in 2021. First learned about seasonal work about 3 yrs ago and was so excited but kept postpone leaving due to ties with significant other and my cat. Lol. 2022 is just days away and now I'm ready to do me!

My fiance and I worked in Seward last summer via coolworks. Huge adventure! Otters, Whales, Fishing, free kayaking, hiking, Ididaride summer sled dogging, eagles, waterfalls. Was great. Wasnt crazy about the people we worked for, kinda crabby, but the good memories will def stick!

I don't recommend commercially going salmon for set netters. Did that last summer, and while the views and nature surrounding Kodiak were AMAZING, crew aren't treated very well. Alaska is an amazing place. Get out there and go hike :)

Its true. Snowflake expectations are often shattered when they are required to do real work, dirty work. "What? no latte breaks?" There's also no avocado toast on those boats. Feelings take a backseat in high risk/high reward jobs.

Hey Shayla! I’m wondering where in Alaska you worked? I’m thinking of working in Seward this summer but I really wanna go somewhere with rafting, so I was curious where you worked on the Kenai. Or perhaps where was the rafting adventure? (I spoke with someone who lives in Seward and he was saying that rafting isn’t really a thing near Seward). Thank you :)

Omg Seward is so beautiful! I worked at Gwins lodge! And the rafting company was chugach!

"and like" ..."like" "I could like..." like like like. Geez, does this millennial chick know any other words for starting a sentence?? Just try counting how many times she says "like". I stopped around the 5 minute mark and it was already over 80! i wouldn't make it 2 minutes in a conversation with someone LIKE this. Incredibly annoying. As long as her boyfriends are younger than 20, she'll have no problem keeping his attention. She's one of these people that overuses words like "amazing". Read more books. It might teach you to eliminate these words from your complex vocabulary.
