Seat Alhambra (7N) 2014 Battery removal and replacement without removing air filter or intake units.

Without removing Air intake unit or air filter unit.
Only two sockets required. 10mm for battery terminals and 13mm from battery clamp.
There are a few great videos on youtube showing how to change the battery by removing the air filter unit and air intake unit first. Having looked at our Alhambra we thought it may be possible to replace the battery without removing the air units first. This video shows how we did it.
If you prefer to remove the air units first it's easy to find those videos on youtube.
But if you want to do it without removing the units, and are happy to tilt it about 30 degrees, have a look at this video.

Well done on the video,saved me a lot of time and made it clear what exactly was holding the battery in place.the owners manual for the car was useless with no instruction what so ever on how it was possible to remove the battery. Well done again and thank you.

Great video for us Al Hambra owners, thanks! I was instructed when changing batteries to always keep the Black negative terminal on and thus the battery grounded before engaging/disengaging the Red positive terminal during a swap but perhaps these newer vehicles have a fault protection feature which prevents an inadvertent short.

Be careful with the brackets on the air filter box so they don't break when you force the battery in and out...
