Love your vids - they are great for the home/diy mechanic to learn from. However, having owned a few VW/Seat/Skoda cars over the years that white inner membrane on the inside of the door that you ripped off definitely needs to go back on as it stops water ingress to the cabin area of the car - otherwise, the carpets will be soaking wet in no time at all. Keep the vids coming!. Cheers.

hi mate thanks for watching I know where you're coming from with the membrane but it really doesn't make that much difference I have seen a lot of cars over years with this taken out and been taken out for a long time never had an issue I'm not saying every car is like this but in my experience never had an issue with this thanks for watching thanks for the comment

i did it on ibiza mk3 today thanks to your video. it was rather simple compared to other stuff i did. about the wrong part - i think you bought the comfort version of the regulator first time (more electronically regulated options of lifting). fits in the same car but el motor is different and has different socket (12 pin instead of 2 pin which is basic version)

Your a good Mechanic and it's a good job you know what your doing as I mean I can imagine other people attempting this and shattering the glass or getting the cable in the wrong place and the door doesn't open.Thanks for uploading these.

What can I do so that the lights of the dashboard only light up when I turn on the headlights, and they are not always on, you go through the city and you do not know if the headlights are on or off, thank you, it was very useful for me the video of the Cordoba window

There should be a little light on your dash letting you know you've got your lights on if it's not there the bulb is most probably blown you can take out the clock cluster and replace the bulb

Just found your channel thanks to Eric O of the SMA channel. Nice to see cars I know and some diesels! Ever done an 09 Passat window reg? Looks like the door lock needs to come off (three plastic stubs in the top right corner holding it on) with the inner door panel to get at the reg. Any tips?
