I have been taking English lessons since last April and just took my first western lesson today and it was fun! I did a lot of posting trot today since that’s what I was doing in English and she was a bouncy mare

So essentially for a posting trot you "throw" the hips forward. Thats all thats needed?

You said follow her right foot.. front or back? Since they're in an X when trotting which do I feel for to post, the front right or back right?

From right root, it helps to look at their shoulders moving too
