I was hesitant to purchase an open box carseat but it came in excellent condition and saved $35. Box was damaged as stated before I purchased it, but the kzbin.infoUgkxIxQe7nPH74g_xtI5NgiE9-zpGNkfgovw car seat looks brand new and I don't think it was ever used. I will update of course if I have any issues with this carseat but I don't think I will. Also it is surprisingly lightweight, the handle feels secure unlike my previous EvenFlo that was gifted to us. Love it !

Looks like a manual! 👌 I had a 991 gt3 but had to let it go due to baby. I’m now expecting my second daughter and was thinking about getting the 992 cab 4s manual. I imagine putting kids in the car seats will be easier in the cab. But after seeing your video I feel my family will be more comfortable in a manual M3 or a CT5 V blackwing. BTW love your fathering!

It is indeed a manual! I think getting kids into car seats in a cab is easier - you can just lift them over the side with the top down. A manual M3 would be a great alternative - I've considered those myself! Happy kid driving!

2 yearsl later... Love the video, have a 11 year old a 6 year old to take to school. I would say, getting new front seats , baquete style , with smaller lumbar support, so that the back passanger can spread their legs and custom, thinner back seats, with thinner lumbar support, would allow teenagers to seat in the back Nd still allow the front passanger with leg room.

If you buy a european market car seat you will get more space in the front. Also, I don't know about the 991 for certain, but the 996 and 997 per German TuV should be used without a car seat in the rear seats once the child is 125cm tall.

Love it. Alas I'm 6' 4 and have 3... Was hoping to see that as per Freakonomics, one might be minded to eschew the booster seats since the seats are obviously sized for infants. But I'm not brave enough to be a thought leader with my guinea pigs on this.

I am considering a 911 C2, but have a 4 year old and my wife is about 5'6".....I am wondering if the 3 of us could all fit in for a trip, say about 3-4 hours or would this be too uncomfortable? I see the seat can slide back adequately with a shorter passenger up front, but will the passenger seat even be able to recline, or will the child seat prohibit this?

I had a 2014 Carrera S almost identical to yours, except PDK. I was so excited to take my daughter (in her car seat in the back) and wife (in front) for a ride to dinner together. My wife is only 4'9, but she quickly became uncomfortable, and after this ride we never did it again.

Agreed - we very rarely all ride in the car together. It's either my wife and me, or my daughter and me. But not all three. My wife is nearly 5'10" and she was having none of it...

Dang! Looks a bit too tight for me at 6'3" and need two kids (6 & 4) in back. Can't do the Panamera as I personally think they're ugly AF

At 6’3” with a kid behind you, it may be too tight. The regular Panamera does look somewhat odd, but the Sport Turismo wagon version looks better to my eyes. If that doesn’t speak to you, there’s always the AMG Wagon, or the new RS6 wagon…

Nice video, but besides total height, the ratio of torso to legs is a factor. I am 5'11 , but my legs are quite long, I was called lanky at school . It doesn't show in my stature , But I have major problems with smaller cars

Yes, depending how tall you and your passengers are it is a one adult and one kid situation. If you and your passenger are 5’9” or less, I’d say you can fit two adults and two kids, if the kids are young. Just depends on everyone’s heights. Good luck!
