The first time I saw a flag come out for a defensive player touching the nameplate on the QB’s jersey and it was called a horse collar I knew this was it, pretty much the end of my football watching days. Hell I’ve watched for over forty years, I changed with the game and rolled with the new rules every year but it’s getting unwatchable with reviews, flags and challenges every other play. People always say I’m just old and don’t understand, go watch a pro bowl from the 80’s or 90’s and fast forward to 2015-2020. It’s a reflection of the times

Nathan Peterman actually looked... good. I'm shocked. He was making all of the wide open throws, and he even had some darts in there. Wow. EDIT: Since nobody wants to read the damn thread, I know that Peterman played against 3rd stringers and that's why he looked so good. I only watched him play in Buffalo during the regular season, so I assumed he had 0 skill as a QB, even against 3rd stringers. Seeing him perform somewhat competently was surprising to me.

Facts! That's the first thing I noticed. In Guenther's system, you'd see maybe one player in the right spot (in the secondary). Not because they're bad, but because they genuinely looked confused. This entire game, besides a handful of plays the secondary was in the exact spot they needed to be. I love how it's shaping up.

Alton Robinson and Darrell Taylor show a lot of promise along with the rest of the d-line. Cody Barton and Ben Burr-Kirven looked like studs. Tre Flowers didn't blow all of his coverages. That play to Jones on the opening drive was covered well except for the end, he didn't get turned around in time.
