it’s funny you mention that, I noticed the same thing. I heard the Sonics use it in theirs, and also the Lakers as well (early 2000s). Curious if there were other teams as well, fascinates me that NBA teams were using the THX sound for intros

Oh yes remember this well,it meant Sonics basketball about to emerge. Shawn Kemp,Gary Payton, Detlef Schrempf,Hersey Hawkins,Sam Perkins,Nate McMillian and etc. Went 64-18 very good in its own right. To the NBA Finals in 1996 the only team that won more than one game vs Bulls in playoffs.
