Thank you for a great video of my home town! Some of the best gems are those away from the downtown core like the Ballard locks. Living now in the Colorado mountains I sometimes miss Seattle but not the congestion and homeless situation.

Robert, Thoroughly enjoy your travels. You show the best and unfortunately that includes the worst (homelessness, a blight on so many cities). Question? I watched your 30 th anniversary video that answered so many thoughts I had about your history. Did you write and perform your theme song and also the background music to your videos. I was born in Port Angeles and noe live near Bremerton, across Puget Sound From Seattle so your latest videos meant a lot to many. Thankful your parents brought you to Miami. You are a treasure to our country.

Robert great tour of Seattle. Surprised grade of roads, like San Fran. Yes images of tent city and homeless sprawled on sidewalks aren’t a PR the city promotes. But I hope you include these areas and people on all your tours because its real and worthy of coverage. Let viewers decide if its a deterrent to visit or prepared in advance something they will encounter. Tks & Mt Rainer is stunning.

My mother and I spent a month on the road back in 1980. Seattle was the first big city we stayed two days in...August is definitely the best weather month there. We had dinner the first night in the revolving restaurant in the Space Needle. It was a perfectly clear early evening, and not only did we see Mt. Rainier but were also treated to a secondary eruption from Mt. St. Helens to the south. Three months after the first, the plains of eastern Washington were still covered with gray volcanic ash. We also spent time that trip in San Francisco and New Orleans. We were mostly occupied with national parks and natural wonders. I loved our all-to-brief time in Seattle, which is probably the city I most want to re-visit at some time. Thanks for the wonderful video! Looking forward to Vancouver and maybe some palm trees along English Bay?

I have a very good friend who lives just past the Ballard Locks so I see this every time on my way to see my friend! A couple of suggestions for your next trip to the Emerald City, you should check out Snoqualmie Falls which is only about 1/2 hour from downtown Seattle, a pretty spectacular waterfall. Also check out Mt. Rainier National Park where you can view Mt. Rainier up close and personal instead from afar!

If you want to see the most amazing view of Mt. Rainier, wait for a clear day (obviously) and drive east on Highway 410 going from Sumner to Bonney Lake. You drive up a hill just before you get to Bonney Lake and BOOM!!! Right when you get to the top of the hill, the mountain looks so close you feel like you're going to actually run into it. It's worth the drive.

Definitely my favorite video from Traveling Robert, back in October 2019 when I visited Seattle I kept saying that Traveling Robert needs to visit Seattle & do a video....one AWESOME thing about Seattle is that it's a twofold city....meaning that alot of people say it's best to visit during the summer & alot of people say during the winter....I myself wanna go back again in October or between October & early December.... it's just so magical during the cold season & the beautiful foliage colors outside, the entire city of Seattle & Bellevue are AMAZING....plenty of great video to be shot in this place.

A great video! I really appreciate all the street footage, which is something those high-dollar TV travel shows seldom provide. If anyone is planning on visiting Seattle, one of the very best attractions is the Boeing museum. I'm not an airplane fan but still consider it one of the best visits to be had in Seattle. And it is in a low-traffic area. Also, take some ferry rides.

Up the hill, behind the piano, is the Steelhead Café. The food is fabulous. Back behind the fish bar, out on the balcony, is a tiny restaurant called Place Pigalle. Anthony’s Homeport is good, but if you go a bit south to Redondo, you can eat at Salty’s (great mussells). The high school in Des Moines is named Mount Rainier High School and on clear days you can see the mountain. If you make your way out here again, let me know and I will enhance your visit.
