Sautéed onions and mushroom in butter then like yours add flour make a ru then add a drop of white wine cook a few mins then Guernsey cream can cheese optional Pour over half lobster tails serve with sauté potato. Or switch mushrooms for diced avocado add crab and prawns cheese on top and grill serve with french bread too. Yeah baby!!

I would say keep the cream. Then after you pour it over they Larry tail put a nice smoked mozzarella on it then broil it for 30 seconds and enjoy

That chowder looks amazing! Good job! I'm a chef and I like to see people create dishes not follow recipes, adding the seaweed was genius as was using some of the water you boiled the seafood in. I live in Seattle, WA, USA and would love to have you try some local seafood from around these parts, i.e. Dungeness Crab, clams, oysters, mussels, salmon, or Steelhead. Love your videos man, and have been subscribed for a long time. Keep up the great content. One of these times I'd like to visit Guernsey and drink a pint with you and your friends.

YUM!! Amazing how little time you need to get that great and hardy looking meal served. An idea for the lobster or crab is a bisque. They taste great and are hardy as well... if you want the recipe to a great lobster bisque, just let me know or ask one of your chef friends!! Great video! Love the foraging!!

It is the breed of cows they use in the Channel Islands. The cream can be incredibly thick. A neighbour had a herd of Jersey cows, and when I was a kid had the normal full fat milk, as delivered by the milkman, on my Weetabix, topped off by the Jersey cream and molasses sugar. Our village was also next to the coast and foraging seafood was a regular thing. As well as collecting seaweed to put on the compost heap, made awesome fertilizer :)

Just had to watch this video again !!!! It always was a very confusing subject for me when I see all these staged " survival " reality shows shown on the U.S. TV where there is a pretty girl and of coarse , her perfectly physically fit male counterpart left on a deserted tropical island to survive on only what they can forage . Why is it they can not harvest food to eat ?????? What really drives me bonkers is they are ALWAYS out of fresh water to drink !!! Maybe some one should remind them to collect water every time it rains ?????? They seem to struggle staying dry from storms that conveniently come by every night . By the way , I was born and raised here in Maryland , U.S.A. , so I can express my honest opinions . Many thanks again for your down to earth videos !!!
