BELIEVE ME. Accutane really CURES sbd, only after 4-5 months it comes back. I think the KEY of the PERMANENT treatment of sbd is in the accutane. Maybe we must find the right dosage to cure sbd permanently or maybe accutane includes some ingredients which manage the oil in skin and kill sbd…WE must do research and understand how accutane kills sbd for 4-5 months (maybe a big dosage can cure it permanently?), where is the key my dears?. We must understand this. I wanna remind you ISOTROTEIN CURES ACNE ( it was said that acne also doesn't have a treatment because it is chroric,but as we see isotrotein cures acne permanently), and the reason of Acne is also the excess oil of the skin.. let's discuss and understand how accutane works on sbd and which dosage may kill sbd forever.. tell your dermatologists about it and and think together, we don't have right to stop

Been dealing with this for 13 years, I'm 26 now. It sucks, it comes and goes. But it's not life-ending, you can still have a good life, you can still go out and have fun even though you might not feel like it sometimes because of how it looks at that moment. Accept it, try what you can to keep it down. If you get low self-esteem, do other things to better your body. No one is perfect, and this is just one of our flaws, you will find people in your life that will accept you for who you are and not give it any attention when you get flareups. My infected scalp oozed greenish stuff for months and months. I regret not using it when I first got the symptoms. It's been 22 years since I had it and I swear by this product. Scalp dermatitis was the symptom that drove me to the Doctor's who, after a thyroid screen, diagnosed me with Hashimoto's Hypothroidism. I highly suggest getting a thyroid screen to check TSH level, T4 level, and antibodies. When you have an autoimmune problem and your hormone levels have gone asunder, this sort of ailment can really happen. The suggestions for treatment on this video are good. Nizoral and Selsun Blue Double strength are very good and also Tar shampoos. However, the way I really got this under control is actually quite simple: Onions. I make a paste of chopped onions plus a few drops of Oregano or Clove oil and blend it in the blender making a paste. Put this on your scalp for at least 1 hour. No more itching at all. Onions are high in sulphur which is the basic compound of many of these shampoos. It's antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral.

Having suffered for a number I have recently worked out what I think caused mine. Dermatologists have told me that it was due to stress and I have always said I don’t really have stress in my life. However I recently discovered that I have probably been suffering from metabolic stress. For a number of years I have been drinking coffee a lot of it and strong. My coffee machine broke a short while ago and I have been drinking less. Now at the same time I have also had symptoms which suggest a B12 deficiency or Folate (B9) deficiency. Well I got tested for active B12 (doctor won’t do this they only do a misleading Serum B12 test) and a folate test where I was at the bottom of the scale but in normal territory. So all is well, well not really. It turns out that drinking lots of fresh coffee, more than around 110g of beans a day (and I was using probably 150-200g) can cause high levels of Homocysteine within the Methylation cycle which can cause a number of unwanted symptoms. It doesn’t matter wether it is caffeinated or decaf coffee the caffeine isn’t thought to be the culprit in raising Homocysteine levels. Just in case and to give my body the best chance of recovery I have started to supplement with good quality B12 and B9 supplements in the form the body can absorb. There are conditions which affect the body being able to absorb both these vitamins correctly so best to use the versions the body actually needs. For more information check out the pernicious anaemia society website. Your mileage may vary but I would suggest that people get their folate and active B12 levels checked and maybe even Homocysteine and MMA (methylmalonic acid) especially if the have any other symptoms of a B vitamin deficiency, you may just find out it clears your skin condition.

@CarloBenevissi3 ай бұрын
When I cut out wheat, gluten, and sugar, mine got ALOT better, especially if you’re a man and you have this in your beard like I did. Also, using tea tree products helped a lot too. I mainly eat meats and vegetables now, I rarely eat any carbs anymore and absolutely no sugars as they will feed the yeast/fungus that causes this. I also only wash my face with a gentle cleanser only like 2x a week now, other days I only use water, also I quit taking super hot showers as this was 100% agitating the condition! Take showers or bathe in lukewarm water or even cold water, yeah I know it sounds like that sucks but after a few days you get used to it and you’ll see a massive improvement. Living with this is so frustrating I know, but some simple lifestyle changes can make a massive improvement without spending hundreds of dollars at the dermatologist and on prescription creams and treatments. Pay attention to your gut health as well and get some good prebiotics and probiotics.

I’ve just started to deal with this within the last couple years at 37 years old. I’ve never had any prior skin issues. I didn’t even really get acne other than a zit here or there. I know they’re likely unrelated, but felt that was relevant to the discussion. Mine appears in my eyebrows, in-between my eyebrows and on my eyelids. My eyebrows get the most flaky, with the scales being fairly thick and hurt to pull on. At first I thought it was just dry skin so I started using moisturizer every day after the shower. It comes and goes. At the moment, I’m in Rhode Island for the holidays (I live in SWFL) and it’s really flared up. My mom suggested using baby oil and, while it does kind of soak in and cover up the appearance of my skin, I know it’s not doing anything to really help it. I appreciate all of the comments on this video and the support I see people showing each other. It’s also nice to read about some different remedies that people have found success with. I was unaware of many of them. Hope everyone has a great New Year and can figure out how to deal with SD!

I have been suffering from this for the past 5 years. I tried a lot of medicated shampoos, and cortisone creams. None of them helped, it's most likely a hereditary disease. My father has it too but it doesn't flare up for him anymore like it used to back in his teenage days. This condition sadly has no cure, you need to keep managing it through medications and you also need to manage your diet. Stop consuming sugary foods and high carb food, it will help. Also avoid steam baths, always shower with cold water. Don't use rough towels to rub your face after showers. Use some kind of soft thin clothed towel or paper instead. Use moisturizer on a daily basis. If you follow these tips, you can keep it under control and it won't become visible on your face. But if you become complacent and not follow the routine, it will come back and most of the times it's worse than the last time.

My celiac disease was very sensitive, and they tried to get inflammation down any way they could. It was during this time I learned that it was well know in dietary health that Dairy is one of the most inflammatory foods and after that Sugar. When inflammation in the gut goes down, the gut can better absorb nutrients and better supply the body with what it needs. The scalp is an area heavily impacted by gut inflammation. Integrative Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic did a fabulous job at helping me figure out my gut inflammation and fixing it through diet. I can’t say my hair is ever sticky, but it does get oily and I seem to react to my own oil. I have to shower once every day to wash the oil away. I also can’t sleep on wet hair because I am high in yeast and the dampness causes an increase when slept on overnight. Sleep with dry hair and wash pillow case (if not all sheets) frequently, my ideal is every weekend. I use ketoconozole right now for the yeast/fungus and it definitely relieves the pain and further redness (easy to get Rx from primary care doctor without appointment pick up at CVS). It doesn’t take away the condition, as my scalp still feels uneven and not smooth, but the pain and itching is gone whenever I use ketoconozole shampoo and leave it on my scalp for 3-5 mins before rinsing. HERE IS HOW TO FIX IT (From someone that suffers from this severely) I have only ever found one treatment that works perfectly and it is not anti-fungal creams. I have tried countless anti-fungal creams as well as moistures, which never did much good. What you are going to want to do - Order dead sea salt (it has to be dead sea salt) online and MCT oil that does not contain lauric acid (C12), as this will make it worse. Take a few spinkles of dead sea salt and add it to a bowl of warm water water so that it dissolves. Smear that on the affected areas of your face and leave for 1-2mins then rinse off with cold water. After this, dry your face off and moisturise with MCT oil. In the beginning i did this daily, then eventually only had to do it weekly. Now I only have to do this ever fortnight or so and it keeps it away completely. Other people have only had do to it a few times for the condition to never appear again. I urge anyone who is reading this to try it!! It has improved my quality of life and sounded ridiculous when I first heard of it, but here i am recommending it. 🙂 I would also like to note that 1kg dead sea salt lasts me about a year and one bottle of MCT oil much longer.

I didn't have this before when I was in Asia in a tropical country. Now that I live in Europe, I experience this twice a year. When the season changes from spring to summer and from fall to winter and last for a week or two but oddly enough, it dissapears at when its completely summer or completely winter. I went to a dermatologist was prescribed capsules and ointments during my vacation in my home country and it was completely gone but when winter came, it also came back. It's really frustrating because the trigger is the weather, its not like I can controll the weather or something and its not like i can just go back to my home country when I have so much more in Europe. . .

Just wanted to ask a few questions: a)the image used at the beginning of the video, would that not be plaque psoriasis (grey and scaly rather than yellow and oily like in s.dermatitis)? B)s. Dermatitis has no positive family history unlike plaque psoriasis. C) s.dermatitis is only mildly itchy or non at all, otherwise it could be atopic dermatitis (in kids). Just wanted to clarify these 😊 (final year pharmacy student)

I use this shampoo 4-5 times a week and the Seborrheic Dermatitis is completely under control and my face is clear.
