My parents were quite young when me and my sister were born 15 months apart. We are blessed to be "old broads" ourselves and still have our Daddy! Sebs, Daddy was born into a wealthy family, he did well for himself. A few years back he asked me and my sister to each make a list of what we want out of the house. She and I did not talk about it to each other, we did not consult or compare. When I handed my list to Daddy, he said "S.O.B.! I can't believe you two", like he was flabbergasted/mad. I said what, Daddy? he went and got her list and handed it to me. Our lists were identical, 1 item listed. We both wanted his old work jacket, the one he wore when he was a welder and still wears in his shop. His old, beat, thread bare jacket is the greatest treasure! Love your girls, they will forever be dedicated to you. I LOVE YOU DADDY!!!

Got another what I consider great writing in a Country tune song. I think this young Lady has a chance and the talent to be the kind of artist that stays relevant for decades. This song is titled “A Little Dive Bar In Dahlonega” (From what I understand, Dahlonega is a southern town, I believe either in Georgia or Alabama) The one liners (specially opening up the second verse) are just all phenomenal! I up and moved halfway across the country to SoCal when I was 19 & totally did not realize how hard it was on my aunt when I did that until my son moved out at 18. He literally moved 1/2 mile from our house and it was freaking HARD!! I told my aunt immediately that I was so sorry because I could NOT imagine him being halfway across the country. 😂 He's moving again next month to a city an hour and a half from here... I'm grateful he's taking "baby steps" with me.😊

Just found your channel while finding music for a slideshow I’m putting together for my daughter that is graduating this year from high school.. When u read the comment that nobody dies & it’s not a sad song, I was thinking it just depends on who’s hearing it & what situation someone’s going through.. Cause for me it is a sad song in a sense that your baby girl is graduating high school & taking off to college.. This song was my situation. As a father of 2 boys who are grown now, one gone in the Air Force stationed in Hawaii and my younger son who is just months from moving out....I can't believe how fast raising them went by. There were many times when they were young we were very busy with cub scouts and hockey.....and I remember thinking sometimes....God will this ever end cause sometimes I just wanted to lay back and rest with all of the hours I worked being self employed. Now it's been over for a few years and I truly miss those times and would give anything to do it again.....try not to take it for granted for any parents who are still in that stage but many will and finally realize that they did later. I have no regrets though...I was always involved being from a broken home at a young age, I wanted better for my boys...I'm very proud to have been able to do that and make the necessary sacrifices to give them a solid foundation in which I never had but had a sense of what that was supposed to be.
