Me too at age 77. It’s always great to share our love of good music with others. My Dad and I always did that together. Can’t say I turned him into a Pearl Jam fan though! 😂 These days I can’t do that so it’s a joy to watch videos like this.

You need to check out her song, "Blue Bayou" or any of her other hundreds of hits. She is excellent. Aaron is excellent also. We boomers kind of thought that our music was normal and fun. There were so many of us the chance that there would have been world class performers in our generation was a given and there were so many of us to pay to see and hear them that they could make a good living from it. You could say we were spoiled. Good reaction.

@@larrywright3132 You're confusing two different groups, both related to Linda. The ponies were her first group, not really great, but Kenny Edwards played guitar in a lot of later Lind's bands. Years later Linda had Glen Frey and Don Henley in her backup band, and the two were talking about forming going together. Linda suggested Bernie Leadon, her then manager John Boylan got Randy Meisner, and the Eagles was born. They actually rehearsed in Linda's living room, and toured as her backup band for a while. When they felt ready went alone, and history was made. Frey and Henley remained great friends of her to this day.

You forget that they are singing live, because it sounds so perfect. No auto tune, no computer correcting of any kind -- just raw perfection. The back story is that in the studio the producer wanted them to really work the "chemistry". And the end, everyone in the studio was speechless, and someone simply said "Grammy!"

I remember as a teenager, when I was home alone and this song came on the radio, I would turn up the volume and sing along with them. Such a beautiful song by the two best voices to sing it.

Watch Linda celebrate her Mexican heritage with her full Mariachi and Rancheros culture with her live show: Canciones De Mi Padre. La Charreada is a great start. The costumes, dancers and Mariachi Vargas were a great compliment to Linda’s incredible singing in Spanish. ❤

My wife’s baby sister was married in 1993, and Mary’s favorite song was “All My Life” by Aaron Neville and Linda Ronstadt. She had the bright idea to have me and my niece sing that beautiful song with an accompaniment track. Kasha, my niece is a trained vocalist. Me? I was a 38 year old country singer wanna-be. Rehearsal was a disaster and I literally begged Mary to simply play the track. I knew I’d lost when she turned on the waterworks. Saturday afternoon came, I’m scared spitless, still looking for a way out where there wasn’t one. Kasha and I took our places, bride and groom patiently waited, and the music started. I know prayers work, because I made it through the song ok. Everyone was happy. I was just glad it was over. I did tell Mary that my falsetto days were past, and to NEVER ask something like that of me again. Wouldn’t you know it, after 2 beautiful daughters and 30 years of marriage, she tried to pull it again. She didn’t win; and I have too much respect for Mr Neville to try it when in my late 60s. Neville & Ronstadt were magic. Ricks and niece, not so much.

My husband and I have this downloaded on our iPhones because we love it. Every time they come on, my husband perfectly imitates Aaron Neville and I’m on pitch with Linda Rondstadt. It’s our fun “go to” song.

Blessed to grow up with Linda and Nevelle Bros. Saw ALL 5 BROTHERS, San Juan Capistrano, Ca. They even saddled up next to me at bar, bought me a drink. I refuse to kiss that small concert, went solo. So blessed💕💕

When they were in the recording studio making this song in 1989 Aaron said to Linda, “I’ll see you at the Grammys”! And this performance was at the Grammys in 1990 and they won best pop duo for this song. Aaron knew a hit when he heard it

Oh, my favorite female singers from the 70's. I love her voice. There isn't any song that she can't sing. You need to listen to her sing with Smokey Robinson, Tracks of my tears. I have all of her vinyl record albums in my collection. She has a beautiful voice! ❤❤❤❤

Dear Sebs, Having seen The Beatles and been at Woodstock, I can assure you that our generation revered, and continues to revere the music of our time. As someone who has been involved with the music business as a writer, player and engineer for over 50 years, I often find myself telling younger musicians that, while it's wonderful they love the music I grew up with, my greatest wish is that they go out and write the songs that they as parents will share with their kids when they reach their fifties. There are memorable songs being written today although they tend to get lost in an ocean of mediocrity. Thank you for what you are doing and the sincerity of your reactions. I am encouraged to know that younger listeners much prefer true artists that can deliver honesty in the studio and on stage. Peace.

One of my old favorites, thanks for bringing it back to me. Lots of respect for a man willing to put out there how much his family means to him. I hope they realize and cherish your dedication. My next fave for Nevil is "Bird On A Wire". Linda Ronstadt, of course, has too many favorites to count. Especially the ones she sings with Emmylou Harris.

I just discovered you from a friend. I am older than you, so I have to stop myself from thinking "how could he not have known Linda and Aaron!!" But I absolutely LOVE how you listen to EVERYTHING ...the voices, their tones, the band, the band solos...THANK YOU for appreciate this music, which is like no other. Linda could sing ANYTHING - any genre from operetta to Mexican Folk music (her heritage) and Aaron has one of the greatest R&B voices ever. Together, they were magic. THANK you for choosing this and discovering Linda Ronstadt, whom I think has the greatest voice ever of any female singer. Can't wait to watch more.
