Hey Seb, glad you're back! So, are you going to make some Ike tutorials for ultimate? I need to know how they changed him, but looking at your gameplays, he feels almost the same.. And no, i can't test it myself because i don't have a switch. And no, christmas is not gonna help. Sad me :( Btw, keep up the good work!

I mained Ike in smash 4 and now in Ultimate and let me tell you, he's a monster now. His nair is ridiculously good, extremely safe and fast to use and combos into all his aerials plus Utilt (I love to use Nair -> Utilt then react to what they do next) He has multiple kill confirms such as Dtilt -> Uair and Nair -> Uair ect. New Uair is extremely good as it juggles and kills no problem. His jumpsquat being 3 frames is a humongous boost. Love the changes they made while also keeping that honest feeling intact. Hope you get the game soon and experience the power of Ike first hand.

For me, a diehard Fire Emblem fan, I believe that Greg Chun voices Ike a little better than Jason Adkins. Since Greg Chun voiced Ike before in Fire Emblem: Heroes, this really made my heart happy. Chun's voice fits very well. Not to say that Jason Adkins did a bad job (HE DIDN'T), but he wasn't as suitable for a voice actor for Ike as Greg Chun was.

Ree Germain Something I’ve always wondered-who the hell voiced Ike in FE9? I know Jason Adkins voiced him from Brawl onwards, but in FE9 it sounds like he’s voiced by a completely different person! Who is this mystery man? Edit: Wait, it’s still Adkins. Did his voice really change that much?

After doing some work in the lab, I found out that dtilt is incredibly strong at 0% on battlefield. If you do it under one of the 2 lower platforms, it's really hard to tech it, and you can follow it with pretty much everything! So yes, I should do more of those :)

Does up throw not combo anymore or something? Or is the timing very tight?

From what I saw, (not completely sure) but it isn't a true combo anymore (up throw -> fair). Down throw is more effective, you can follow up with nair, fair, uair...

SebWind4 Though I saw that you can get easy airdodge reads out of up throw since the timing window to airdodge fair or nair is so narrow, so I guess it's still useful; up throw to fsmash is good damage as well.

I've been having a lot success taking stocks using up throw to up air. A heavy like K.Rool will lose a stock at 130%. Until then I stick with down throw followed with an aerial, mostly f-airs, sometimes up-airs if the opponent di's towards me
