I remember fishing above carpentersville dam many years ago good smallmouth fishing what is water depth like from there to Algonquin i fish saint charles to south elgin but she gets shallow smacked bottom of my boat last year near blackhawk

The water has been up all year with all this rain. Normal summer pool on this pool I can only make it a bit past longmeadow parkway. It’s about 3-6’ in that area
