+/- 1000¥ = $9
So you can buy used games for a buck and Playstation 2 for about $26
They have original Vinyls too.
You can also find great selection of old amplituner and speakers.
Laptops are not so attractive by price but tablets you can find interesting.
I notice lots of junk but there are diamonds for example a "new alike" original NES with all accessories included.
The cheapest things are under "JUNK" section and they are without warranty and with "no return policy", often without any accessories like ac adapter etc.

Hi. I'm going to Japan and I would like to know wich are the bests Hard off in Tokyo and Kyoto. Also, the best store, is it Kanteidan or Super Potato? My focus is Super Famicom console and games. Thanks a lot.

Since I live in Japan I regularly visit my local Hard Off store. I laughed too when I first saw the name which is a compression of Hardware at money Off prices. The Japanese never ask a native speaker to proofread their English which makes for some hilarious signage. That said this chain has a whole bunch of stuff they recycle at very low prices . Vinyl albums around 1000 yen ($10) is usual. Their range of acoustic and electric guitars makes me drool too. They have old school film cameras,Hi-Fi turntables speakers Amps, and mountains of connecting cables . Well worth a visit.

i could never find anything decent in “hard off” stores. and if you do find it, it’s crazily overpriced. japanese yahoo auctions have so much more and way, way cheaper.

By train station I meant Sapporo Terminal station,my hotel are at Asahikawa so I really don't have the luxury to explore the Sapporo area and we arrived at 5:00 PM when the sun long set in Winter. The store are at this address: 3 Chome-3-15 Fushiko 2 Jō, Higashi-ku, Sapporo-shi, Hokkaidō 007-0862, Japan Just 5-10 minutes from Sapporo Terminal station by Taxi. A store I'm at are small and more focused on audio equipment than video games they even have audiophile corner with mouthwatering good speakers and amplifiers on demo (at low volume of course nothing's going to get in the way of their sacred Hard-Off jingle) And the price are audiophile high end level of expensive. Traveled all the way from Asahikawa yet didn't buy anything back is a biggest disappointment of the trip I have to say. I almost buy a Fujifilm Instant Camera for 300 yen but my dad was furious about buying old "junk" so I leave empty handed.

It's a chain electronic recycling stores located all over Japan. I visited 3 Hard-Off stores during my visit back in January first store in Asahikawa was pretty bare bones it's more of a Off-House store than Hard-Off store only managed to get 3 PS1 games from the store. second store was the closest store to Sapporo Terminal station but it was a smaller standalone store with more focus on audio equipment. Third one was more like the one on this video,a decent sized Hard-Off store that located right next to highway among many other warehouse stores in Eniwa. I only managed to get a junk boxed Neo-Geo CD for $42 two Neo-Geo CD sports game for $14 and loose Sega Mark III for $60 and boxed PS1 Rockman X3 for $27 from the Eniwa store.
