how would you rate this experience overall? I'm debating if I should do this alternative tour for a more private, less crowded experience vs. the lower and upper canyon tours that seem to be super packed and rushed!

Thank you for watching!! I would def give this a 10/10 for sure!! I enjoyed the private tour much more but that's just my preference. We had much more time to take in the scenery/energy in silence at times vs it being super packed walking through crowds, waiting to take the perfect picture.. I know I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much. Def do your research to see what will work best for you! Enjoy!

is this is lower or upper Antelope? how you skip the line? can you share the tour guide link?

Hello :) Ahh I can't remember if it's upper or lower but It’s an exclusive semi-private tour then they take the group to THEIR private overlook at Horseshoe Bend VS the public overlook, public parking lot and the long walk to view it. When you get to the Bend it’s the group and no one else. Especially this specific tour was the sunset tour- so relaxing!

Hiii :) I would say possibly but I always ask before I record anything. If you don't feel sure - just ask. Our tour guide was very informative!

can you hike to the bottom of horseshoe?

Thanks for watching! No you can't but you can kayak/canoe on the river. "Unfortunately, you can’t hike down to the bottom of Horseshoe Bend from the overlook. The cliffs are too steep and there’s no way to safely make your way down to the Colorado River at the bottom of the canyon. However, you can experience the curve from the bottom if you travel along the river itself. All you have to do is rent a kayak or canoe and pick up a paddle. "
