Secret Cove, Road Trip, Lake Tahoe

In 1998 I had just bought a new video camera (a Canon XL1) and took a road trip up to the San Francisco area to try the camera out.
When I was “on the road” with a performer back in the ‘80s we travelled to Reno Nevada several times. I worked the show at night but always had to be back and ready to go by 3pm most days. On one of those trips someone told me about Secret Harbor on the shore of the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. It was always a bit of a hike at sometimes 7am, especially carrying a backpack, an inflatable raft and a cup of coffee. Most days I stayed until noon and headed back to Reno.
This is a later trip from September 98 when I re-visited the spot I used to go to those mornings back in the ‘80s.
Secret Cove is a beautiful place.
