Katrina Mishow 100% agreed. These are by far some of my favorite TB moments of all time, and while it hurts to know there will never be a #10, I’m glad this incredible series is preserved to remember him by. Also, Genna decided to enable comments after his passing so we all who would inevitably rewatch his vids in memory could celebrate his memory together :)

Speaking for all germans, 4 years after this was made: we do not in fact hate TB, he was very welcome to butcher our language/accent a little :) But for real, this hasnt been commented in a few months on this video so... we all miss you TB. It's good to hear your voice again in these vods.

Just binged this series after remembering Secret Hitler being a fun game. I watched this back when it was first released, I think, but didn't return since. I'm so sad to hear that TB passed away; I hope Genna and their kid are doing alright. Rest in Peace, TB. You were awesome.

2:34:40 - Maggie was 100% right here. Cry should have given him either both Fascist (or one of each). While TB didn't know Cry was one of the other Fascists, Cry could have spoken up right away (after the card was played). Cry's job was to protect TB, even if that drew suspicion onto him. This would have given TB an early warning or signal to TB that he was one of the Fascists, especially when they constantly keep breaking the "talking while drawing cards" and he could claim like "dammit" or "sorry, didn't have a choice". I'll miss these games because they are very entertaining to watch.

Here is the slight problem with that. Hitler wants to try and play B when he can to try and get elected chancellor. So that was TBs only chance to put one day while it was still safe to do so.

The issue, of course, being that he immediately said that he drew 2 liberal and 1 fascist, so he literally couldn't have given him 2 fascist. And he DID give TB one of each, so what were you even saying here, anyway?

It's been a good trip down memory lane rewatching this series. We never truly appreciate what we have until its gone. TB was a good man and an entertaining creator, and I am thankful we have all this to remember him by. I hope you're resting easy TB!

Just finished watching through this secret hitler series for the 2nd time! Watched it a couple years ago but I wanted to return because I remember enjoying it so much. I wish they had continued this series. It would be amazing if they could return for more games at some point. RIP TB - your content has brought me much joy ❤ Just some technical critiques of this series (for if it ever happens again or anyone is thinking of starting their own series) 1. I think it would have been nice to know exactly who is talking when they speak. I think this was present in episode 8. Also if they use the real names of the players on the placards. Mainly because it can be confusing when the player is down as Nerd3 but they're naming someone called Dan and you take a while to know who is talking to who. 2. I also don't think any physical note taking should be allowed- the spirit of the game is supposed to be chaotic but note taking removes that element and gives liberals too much of an edge. 3. I personally don't mind the bullets/not hitler cards/previously chancellor/president cards but potentially they again give the liberals an advatange since these are not present in the physical board game varient which allows fascists to confuse liberals further. Might be worth removing them and seeing the result. 4. The process in which hitler is revealed would be better if hitler just opens his eyes and holds his secret role card in front of the area and then shuts eyes before fascists look/reveal themselves. There were a few times when it just wasnt obvious who was actually waving their cursor around or when the cursor was barely visible to the fascists (such as the last game when TB was Hitler).

They did show who was talking. It was on the left side but slightly darker, so perhaps you didn't notice.

2nd thing cuz Ive actually learned a thing watching this: in the last game in particular, people went "STATISTICALLY, it's very unlikely we will get a liberal card out of that deck". So I wanted to check if that's correct. There were 9 cards in the deck, 2 of them could be and were said to be liberal. So... 2/9 to draw lib? Well, not exactly. President draws 3 and all that a liberal president and a liberal chancellor need to win is that 1 card. So the actual odds are 2/9 + 2/8 + 2/7. That boils down to slightly over 75% chance to draw 1 liberal card. So "statistically", the odds were really high to just win outright if the right people were elected. If only 1 liberal card were in the deck, it would be less but still not terrible: roughly 37%. So it's more down to who they elect and less about odds. [says I, 4 years after this was played :D]

Wouldn't it be 7/9*6/8*5/7 to draw 3 Fascist cards in a row? That'd make it about a 53% chance to draw a lib. Still not a low chance, though.

While I loved TB and many others from the cooptional gang. Crendor really got the short stick more then any other in that friend group by a surprising margin. Also TB failed to realize in these games he actually derailed the matches more then Crendor ever did xD. Without Jessie to hold both in check you can see just how much of a bully TB was to Crendor. Yes I know they are friends and was banter but dear lord you have to commend that poor guy for dealing with so much shit, also Maggie learned the issue of being associated with crendor and yeah, good ol fun that we rarely see anymore.

@1:02 30 You do not have seem to considered a strategy TB There were 3 Liberal and 2 fascist policies at the time and 2 cards left in the deck. Likely one or if everything was telling the truth 2 were Liberal. There were 2 Fascist and 3 liberal voted in. If you elected someone you would have to shuffle 3 Liberal with 9 Fascist. A 25% (3 in 12) chance of pulling the first one Liberal. L&& is 3 in 12 out of 1,310 choices (12*11*10) If you pull an L the second one is 2/11 so 2 Ls (LL&) = 6 in 131 and ALL will be F after that If you pull three Ls (1310 to 1 ) you could not stop a fascist policy even if you veto because all 7 left will be F BUT If you continually VETO a vote for chancellor the two policies left even if ONLY one is F you have a 50% chance of an L Also even if 1 is passed the F will not get the bullet. The only risk is an F getting passed and a fascist appointing Hitler as chancellor. But this would opnly happen when Crendor got the presidency 3 vetos later. Are you better when only a few cards are left and you are sure one is Liberal in vetoing so you get at least one of them?
