The space marine episode to add, he is in primaris armour in this animation, and is wearing the helmet given to him at the end of space marine 2. This entails it is after the game when he has already become the captain of the second company (then subsequently taken by the inquisition)

I genuinely love what they did with the Pac-Man episode, I don't understand why it gets the hate that it does - obviously there wasn't much to go off of, so they had to go in a different direction, and I love the direction they went with. They took the entire concept, and flipped it on it's head in a seriously intriguing way - it left me wanting more, in a good way.

A correction for the Warhammer 40k episode. This is Titus post-Space Marine 2, as he has 4 service studs on his forehead and his helmet has the Imperial Laurel. Titus, when he was a captain of the 2nd company, had 2 service studs. Being the main character of the Space Marine videogame series, it's very unlikely he would be killed off. Also, due to his unnatural gift of resisting Chaos influence, this was likely the mission that he was on at the end of Space Marine 2 by Marneus Calgar. Won't be surprised he gets sent on another mission similar after surviving this one.

The black marine, who picked up child-Titus back in the day and started his Astartes initiation, feared the most that Titus is indeed corrupted by Chaos. He took these rumors to heart. When the demon tried to show Titus his worst fear - there was nothing. That's why Titus was able to break the spell and strike the demon down.

I wouldn't be surprised if Leandros suggested him for this mission because it was supposed to be a one-way trip, we do see him go with Titus and Calgar at the end after all. The cheeky little cunt just can't let Titus be. That outright accusation at the end despite being cleared of corruption by the very organization that he snitched on Titus too, I hope Cassius was extra harsh on him during his chaplain training (on top of the already grueling training they go through).

@@dememeitized8048 the Imperium in 40k functions a lot differently than current day militaries. usually the best Space Marines are sent to the most dangerous battle zones. (titus served in the death watch which is a dedicated chapter that exclusively does suicide missions and is considered a great honor for spacemarines). hell 99%of the Imperiums fights are done by regular soldiers. only when shit really hits the fan do the Astartes actually show up

Not to mention there are those like Leandros who fears Titus and wants to see him fail or be exposed as a heretic. Iv never played, nor wanted to play New World. But it is by far the funniest episode of them all. I went through 3 phases in that episode. 1: "Oh lol, they made him sound like Arnold. Haha, that is pretty funny !" 2: "Waaaait ... Is.... Is that Arnold ?" 3: "HOLY FUCKING SHIT ! IT FUCKING IS ARNOLD !" Legit had me laughing out loud. The rest of the show is top notch as well and very emotional, which kinda caught me by surprise. Id love to see more !

I really hope this brings in more people to be Armored Core fans, I want to see an Armored Core game in the same level as AC3 and AC4A with the extension parts and stabilizers. Bit of extra lore for those interested in dabbling with Armored Core, that voice is a wave mutation caused by coral, a fuel/weapon/food source for the Rubiconians and a very sought after resource. While in the game C4-621 gains the wave mutation Ayre from a burst of Coral, it seems Keanu got his from simply taking in Coral as it is also a potent drug. Coral is very hard to come by since it is unstable in large amounts causing the events of the recent game AC6. Given how versatile this Coral substance is, early Rubiconian scientists integrated them in humans creating Coral-augmented pilots which is what Keanu plays. Pilots of ACs are wired into their mechs as the mechs detect brain activity and interpret it to action which is why we see Keanu plug up and find various machines pumping blood and other fluids in and out of him. These ACs travel at 300 m/s at the minimum and each dodge ramps it to the 600s. The lore on these machines and how they come to be, the corporations, the characters, everything is interesting and I hope people get into it more! I highly recommend playing AC6 as it is beginner friendly then move onto the older games as AC1-2, AC3/AC3SL/ACN/ACLR, AC4/AC4A, and AC5 are separate universes so feel free to jump into which ever fancies you. I highly recommend the AC3 universe for its story and customization and AC4A for its mech designs and high speed combat (and I do mean high speed, NEXTs in AC4 and AC4A dodge at mach 1 speeds minimum, it is a very exhilarating game)

A quote from the wiki: “Generations One through Four ("old generation") were invented before the Fires of Ibis and utilized "Coral technology", but recipients suffered numerous physiological and psychological side-effects, chief of which has been referred to as a "loss of humanity".” That loss of humanity would likely be the mixing of Coral with a person to produce something new. Remember at the end of AC6 in the final ending when you release the Coral and you see it basically animate all the ACs across the galaxy? I’m sure the synthesis was what was being hinted at.

The animation and storytelling was great (although predictable) and I was happy to hear Aleks Le, but for me it was actually one of the weakest episodes because I couldn’t understand the reason for it being in the anthology. It felt like a dark twist on Pac-Man for the sake of being a dark twist on Pac-Man, without really bringing any substance to the game. Compare it to other episodes that all expand their respective universe and the Pac-Man one just fell a bit flat for me.

I was playing Sifu for the past few days. Each coin breaks whenever the MC reaches the age milestone (eg. first one breaks when the MC reaches age 30, then the next breaks at 40, then 50, then 60 and the last coin is usually when the MC reaches 70 yrs old. One coin breaking doesn't necessarily mean the MC dies once. The game's system makes it that everytime the MC dies, the age increases by the number of deaths. For example, when the player is 20, and dies once, they age to 21 then when they have their 2nd death, the MC ages 21+2. So it makes it kinda difficult to assume how many times the MC dies when fighting Sean.

About the Crossfire episode, I thought the Global Risk guys are the ones wearing dark blue underarmor and black helmets/vests, while the Black List wears gray underarmor and beige helmets/vests. That's what I remember the color scheme was, but haven't played since 2013 so I may be wrong.

It was because he has no fear, the sorcerer confronted them with their biggest fears eg metaurus fearing that Titus would become a heretic. But since Titus never feared anything even before becoming a space marine that trick doesn’t work on him. I doubt that’s the reason for his warp resistance tho he was still somehow affected/weakened by the artifact in SM2 when they found the ship of the arch magos and that had nothing to do with fear.

NEXTs doesn't exist in the Armored Core 6 continuity and are exclusive to the timeline setting of Armored Core 4/for Answer - Armored Core 5/Verdict Day.

Not to be THAT guy but for Crossfire I think you got the factions mixed up. The turn coat is working with the blacklist(The hired mercs). In the game the black list is denoted by the colour brown and the global risk as blue. in one of the earlier scenes in the video you can see the female character dawning the global risk insignia on her vest.

I just finished watching. The W40K and the Armored Core episodes were my favorites. Also, I'm pretty sure the W40K episode takes place after the events of Space Marine II. He's got the laurel he received at the end of that game, as well as the chain around his right arm signifying he served time in the Deathwatch, a special unit of Ultramarines that carry out missions for the Inquisition of the Imperium of Man.

I think the spell protecting the camp in the D&D episode was "Hearth of Moonlight and Shadow" from the Druid of the Dream circle, allowing you to create a shrouded area for camping. But it could simply be the "Hallow" spell from the paladin. the Firbolg druid casted "Wind Wall" on the bridge. the gnome wizard casted either "Burning Hands" or "Flamestrike" on the bridge. I did not think the bat mount the lich was riding to be a dire bat, but more likely a wyvern. Thought the dire bat makes sense, they are supposed to be large, not as big as that was. Tho, it's D&D, and if it's an original creature I really like it. makes me think of a Nargacuga from from Monster Hunter.

Hey there, just a small correction for the 5th episode : Titus is not able to kill the daemon because he has no fear, he's able to do so because he is immune to the warp powers as shown in Space marine 1, moreover this story takes place after the events of Space marine 2 as Titus already has his laurels helmet which he receives at the end of the game. Correction on the Armored Core section, Shrieker is the name of the AC, not its type. The type of AC you are referring to in AC4, is called a NEXT, Shrieker is not a Next, even if its uses a type of VOB. If it was a NEXT, the enemy Augmented Human inside the core would have died within seconds when being exposed to Shrieker. Short explanation, NEXT are SUPER radioactive. Its one of the reason why AC4 setting looks like a total wasteland more than its other entries. Another reason is thats its really slow for a NEXT. Next against normal AC last less than seconds, even against an army. While AC vs AC can last a minute or two.

so slight correction the pilot's AC in that episode is not a NEXT which were the ones from armored core for answer it just happens to also be able to utilize a V.O.B. (Vanguard Overed Booster) which were first introduced in FA and it uses a different generator than the other ACs in the episode possibly an arquebus one shrieker is an AC from 6 but it's one that can some how use a melee weapon on it's right arm (they can't do that in game) and has an energy shield on it's left

My idea for what's happening in Sifu is he's actually stuck in the spirit realm and trains there, for that long. He sees his older self in this spirit realm after dying, so my guess is he's actually learning from future versions of himself and we just see a shortened version of what really happens. When he comes back toward the end, he's WAY better.

You mentioning Crossfire just threw me back to my elementary years man... me and my classmates just plays this game instead of doing our work on the school computer I think the reason why nobody seems to know about crossfire in the US is because it was mainly popular in South East Asia (and Asia in general) and iirc, the zombie modes is the most played game modes. Lore wise i don't think there's any mention why the zombies exist, but maybe whatever is in that suitcase started it? but that's just a THEORY!! a GAME THEORYYY!!!

The voice talking in AC is a coral wave mutation. Basically a pure energy sentient being running as if she were a program in the implants of old gen agmentation, which used coral. Technically, she is bounded to the implant, being able to access multiple electronic devices and data bases. It is kinda weird for them to say there are no augmentated pilots anymore as they were quite common by the time of AC6

The 40k episode is actually taking place after SM2 storyline, since he's Lt. with the Laurels of Victory he earns at the end of the main story.

Titus is also Chaos resistant, as established by both Space Marine 1 & 2. That most likely is the main reason he was able to kill the sorcerer when his brothers were all bested.

I've been waiting for something like this from Armored Core since 1997. The only disappointing thing about that episode was the length. Somebody greenlight a spinoff with Keanu stat.

I made my wife watch this with me, she is not a gamer but she enjoyed the new world episode a lot, I think the light heartedness of it and the main character choice was a good decision

Crossfire was really the weakest episode. Its like watching a new COD ingame cinematic. It was good, but yet not the same like the rest.

One thing that I was curious with in the Unreal Tournament episode is when in the final battle when xan is damaged and being helped by another robot the robot bangs into two of the other robots. They look back at him as if they are angry with him. Did I miss understand something?
