I’m Puerto Rican and I actually worked at the 3-1 location. In my time it was the no. 1 busiest store on the Island and it made more from the Taco Bell and Pizza Hut than most singular stores (over 5 million a year in sales in my time). My boss Jorge Landing is still the GM there (as I last heard) and he is the one who taught me everything that I know. A great store and the crew back then became life long family til this day. I miss that store ❤️🇵🇷

I grew up in a small town in Texas that had a combo Taco Bell-Pizza Hut-KFC. We called it Taco Chicken Hut. I believe it’s still open, minus the Pizza Hut. There was also an A&W-Long John Silver’s in a town nearby.

We have a lot of them here in NYC. Nearly every Baskin Robbin’s here is a combination of Dunkin. I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen a stand alone Baskin Robbin’s.

On Long Island Ny we had an LJS and A&W sit down only restaurant that was huge. They had booths that were made of retro cars and had car shows in the parking lot every weekend. Miss that place! Now I just have an A&W and KFC by me

@therealsamreid The part @12:55 here in Indiana it is normal for us to eat the Pizza Hut bread sticks with cheese sauce. I worked at my local pizza hut years back. I use to order the cheese, unload the truck and some times warm it up so we could server it. Since it is the same cheese from taco bell it some times ended up at my house bags of it lol.

I don't know if there are others like this in the country, but I always thought it was such a strange, yet interesting combo. P.S. In the town I grew up in we had a combinition LJS and KFC, I have 4 brothers, so my Dad would always get a ton of fish and chicken. For a few years I actually thought this was a standard thing, and as we moved to the south I assumed the reason we had just standalone KFC's were that cheap fish was just harder to get down here. I realized as I got older that didn't make too much sense, but I miss the combos we used to come up with. My mom was never a big fried chicken fan, so my Dad had to get both every time we went lol

Crazy! My parents live in Poquoson! Yes, there actually was a KenTacoHut. The building you see pictured was built for that purpose and was a KenTacoHut for a number of years. After it vanished a few different restaurants have gone into the space. But Sam, I have to 'correct' yah; The Schooners that is in the space now is awesome!! Great pizza, burgers and wings so it definitely makes up for the KenTacoHut not being there!
