Does anyone else cry when watching Secret Millionaire or is it just me?
@lewthrasher41947 ай бұрын
One big thing I think this show has Done is bring awareness to places that are legit charities that do need help. When I could help I did but so many use most of the money to pay themselves over actually using the money for the cause.

I really enjoyed this episode for many reasons. Margaret took charge and went looking for the areas where she could help. She was kind and thoughtful in her discussions with the people she met. She was focused, and knew where to look to be of service. The people leading the groups were amazing. No one was complaining that the government should be doing this or that, they just got stuck in and did what was needed. Salt of the Earth people, offering a helping hand. What love and what a sense of community. My respect to all of them. Margaret had the ability to keep the wheels turning and I am grateful to her for that. The other people are the ones making sure those wheels turn, and I am grateful for that. We can all be part of this process, no matter how much, or how little, we have. Blessings!

Ok. The lady millionaire is awesome!! She gets it. But the men's club: wauw. Absolutely amazing and beautiful. Men carry such a lot for us. They do. And they are wonderful. I give my appreciation and thanks to all the kindhearted and strong men of the world. Thank you guys, thank you for carrying us around.

This is my favorite episode ! I’m a retired pediatric and hospice nurse. My precious little patient Allison- aka- Allie- I met at set 4 and she lived 15 years before succumbing to acute myelocytic leukemia after surviving a bone marrow transplant. This little boy and the family had my heart.😢

I've only seen 2 of these programs that were just incredible. I am so glad she was given beauty for ashes. The episodes of kids with leukemia just crush me. I lost one of my brothers to that. All my memories of him are of when he was so sick. I can't believe my parents held up through their losses, I admire them to this day. Our family was deeply affected, by his loss. I grew up in the valley of the shadow of death. Prepared me for what was to come. I cared for most of my family before they died. Leukemia, AIDS, Mesothelioma, COPD and cancers took them all. I spent my life in the valley. I was alone a month after my 33rd birthday. I worked in end of life care my whole life as a result. I am glad to see this wonderful family enjoy the oil of gladness. That it still exist. I am even more happy to see people still praying. I do a lot of that myself. Keep up the good work. a prayer of blessings for your work. Well done, good and faithful servant.

Who the hell is apologetic about their Christianity? Well, excluding people living in Muslim countries perhaps.. Christianity is shoves in everyone's faces all the fucking time in the west, on every KZbin video you'll find people praises God or Jesus for another person's hard work, talent and dedication etc. Where are all of those oh so apologetic Christians? Of course I was really touched and saddened by the poor children that had cancer. It was heart breaking. but one thing that really inspired me at the beginning of the show was that they ran their business with prayer. What a beautiful plan. Make God your business partner.
@slcncr4 жыл бұрын
That same god who put Cancer in Children ? Or the one who did nothing to prevent it ? Prayer doesn`t mean anything. It has never changed anything or helped anyone. It is nothing more than talking to yourself. "God" is a human invention to control people and keep them in fear. It was invented by cavemen to explain thunder. An imagination, nothing more.

@@slcncr good work kite
@donaldmickunas85523 жыл бұрын
@@slcncr God does not put cancer in children. Man did that through disobedience and rejection of their rightful King and Lord. We cry that we want free will to be able to do whatever we want and blame God for the rules he gives us to keep us safe and help us have good lives. Then we turn around and cry that God doesn't prevent people from doing bad things to each other, a prevention that would strike away free will. At heart, people are rebellious and will find any excuse to reject God. We act like spoiled brats far too often and again blame God for it all when we choose to do those things because we have free will. I have found that, as I yield to God's way and seek Him, he changes me for the better. He does answer prayer in my experience but He is not a cosmic Genie. He reserves the right to say "no" or "not yet". That has been my experience.

After hatching, male and female chicks are separated as only the female chicks will grow up to lay eggs. Because they cannot lay eggs, male chicks are of no use to the egg industry. They are killed on their first day of life. The most common methods of slaughter are gassing, suffocating, crushing, or grinding alive.
