@BroadwayBound0094 жыл бұрын
MUJEMO ABRAHAM DNA is amazing but sadly it is still a very new thing in terms of finding family through it. A lot of people don’t register themselves or people find a super distant relative and can’t trace that person to who they are trying to find. That is why shows like this with a top notch team of genealogists and law/records experts is so great. They search the old fashioned way and check/confirm DNA if they find a family member.
@mujemoabraham65224 жыл бұрын
@@BroadwayBound009 I do agree with you that the DNA science is a new thing for many people but it's very accurate as per my experience with it more than nine years now. Better for the people to start with it before searching in the law files / records .... etc...... ( less headache and short time )
@BroadwayBound0094 жыл бұрын
MUJEMO ABRAHAM totally agree, DNA doesn’t lie. However it can be expensive to register on the sites and lead to nothing. That’s why genealogists use public records, newspaper articles, birth/death certificates, census records, property records and a ton of other sources to piece together the stories and families. Now with the addition of DNA is can cut down on search time if you get a hit or it can 100% confirm or deny your findings from traditional genealogy searching.

I don't think that we should hate this woman or anything of that nature, but is not it kinda sad that Nancy and Mark (and maybe others) are still suffering because of her behavior. It is now about THEIR lives, yet they are thinking about her... The pictire taken at the orphanage is very sad. Look at them, mother and daughter. I have had an opportunity to visit my friend in an orphanage once (thankfully she was only there for 3-4 month I think) and yeah, kids there feel really awful, I would be suprised if any of them is somewhat happy, I even recognize sad face expression of 12 y.o. Nancy. Mother looks sad as well. Why not do everything you can to take your child home out of that place and live happily ever after? What can be more important than that? 8 kids none with her? The oldest was raised by his father, the middle ones are all in foster care. She has the youngest only because, I believe, she’s still with it’s father. She complains on FB about her baby annoying her in various ways. Even so, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if she popped out another one. I wonder sometimes, if a tubal was offered when they were in hosp having one, if they would take the opportunity and have it done, since all they seem to be able to do for their kids is make them miserable in one way or another.

Love this series but often the video is such poor quality I can't watch it. I hope that will somehow become better soon because I want to watch more often. Each episode touches my heart. I am the family genealogist and I have found 3 adoptees (2 in family and 1 a good friend) biological family. Your stories are always wonderful.

Stories like this breaks my heart. A mother who keeps giving birth but being neglectful to her kids, and kids ended up being adopted. 🥺 Lucky if the kids got a great adoption, but if not 😭

Sam and Alice both asked same request “ can you read it for me” 😀

it's for the show. a lot of the time people don't know if they're going to cry if they read it themselves, so the show gives them the option to let the presenters read it.
