Beautiful song! Scott Grimes did a wonderful job on The Orville at Isaac and Claire’s wedding. I had never heard it before but knew instantly that it had to be a James Taylor song. James may be the most incredible singer/songwriter of my generation.

True Story: My little sister got ahold of James' people to see if my wife and I could see his show in Sacramento on June 3rd. You see....I learned to play guitar because of JT. I've been a big fan for decades, and well....I lost all my guitars, music, records...everything in the October firestorm in Santa Rosa. Well....we got free and awesome tix. 6th row. During the intermission, he came out to the stage and mingled with his fans. I waited my turn....he signed a CD for me, and I told him I wanted to thanks his people for getting us here. He took my hand and graciously offered his best for us as we get back on our feet. He's the complete human being thing. He also genuinely has fun with the people. Mr. Taylor....thank you for a special evening.

I went to a James Taylor concert and when he starts to play everyone is totally silent, but look around and you will see almost everyone lip syncing with the song. As soon as he finishes we all were clapping, whistling and letting him know how much we appreciated the song but as soon as he turned back to the mike to start the song it was total silence. We all wanted to let everyone else enjoy the magic just like we were. One magic night, I have been a fan since his first song hit the air ways.

This song just resonated in me immediately and I downloaded it so I could stop watching Orville over and over just the part with this song. I'm 64, and I just got Disney + streaming and, like others here I watched this in The Orville at Dr. Finn's and Issac's wedding, So I came. Not because it was new . . . but because I remembered. Thank you Sweet Baby James. You are the best!

I have been listening to JT since the 70’s and still am. That calming voice brings me to that “peaceful place”. Thank you JT for sharing your talent with the world. God bless you.

I took up guitar in the late 70's because I loved James Taylor and John Denver. Now I have an Ovation, a Taylor, and a $2,000 Classical. I know many other people were Inspired by these remarkable people.

One cannot add an adjective of degree to the word genius so I'll simply qualify it with the word pure - pure genius.
