NP is one of those heroes that truly great NP players can win almost any game due to the versatiliy of the hero, the stregth of the hero game to game relies more on that meta heroes than NP himself. Some NP games are just pure hell

Speeeed! Thanks for your content! I find it one the most educating dota 2 content in youtube, you helped me improve my skill tremendously. NP pos 3 or 2 is one of my favourite heroes, it is very fun to play. However if I have a decent pos 4, or I play mid, I start with scaling stats instead of skills, I pick stats for the first 3 levels, than scale 1-2 for levels 4 and 5 if I can pressure the lane, or 2-1 if I can help on the other lane. At level 6 I pick ulti, and then max stats and 2nd skill, then max treants, then max 1. I pick right click talents. In terms of item build I start with blight stone, 2 fairy fires and 2 branches. Then I go for PT and wand (if needed). Then I go for orchid into bkb into silver edge into satanic or AC if we win the lanes, have very tempo pick or it is an easy game, where I can kill supports or under-farmed cores. If I see that our mid or safe lane is lost, and we cant really fight enemies, or it is hard to kill enemy heroes, I go for maelstrom first item, into bkb, into AC into mjolnir (the rest is situational) and try to skip packs and split push, to create some space for my team to come back. This build might look dubious, but if you have blight stone, and at level 3 you pick stats 3 times, you have 12 bonus damage (6 from stats, 4 from 2 ff and 2 from 2 branches). With 12 bonus damage and more attack speed (amplified by blight stone) at level 3 you can pressure almost any hero, usually pos 1 heroes are weak first 3 levels. You also have bonus 240 hp and some armor which at level 3 makes you really tanky. And on top of pressuring heroes you can actually deny a lot of creeps from your opponents with that bonus damage. With this build I usually win any lane, if I have decent pos 4, or I am not getting ganked several times on the mid lane, and try to snowball and play active. Also, people don’t expect you to scale stats and don’t realize you are so tanky at first, which can help you to get early kills or at least exchange very good with opponents on the lane. Obviously for this build It is much better to have tanky mid or carry to front lane, like primal in this game, or ursa, or leshrak, wk etc. because if you have carry draw ranger and mid invo or sniper for instance, it is going to be very difficult to fight in the mid game. i spam this hero this last few weeks my rank is in divine 4 before and i havnt played like 2 or almost 3 years and i rank down like very hard to archon 2 xD . and i spam that hero carry role from archon 2 - legend 5 and i hit my bottle neck xD . i think if you pick that hero you need hero that can fight too like ember or BB offlane or if you dont have strong hero pos 3 4 5 should stick always to hunt so you can snowball the game what great with NP carry is you can farm while join the fight as long your team mate dont go under tower its good to back them up but if they go under tower it depends.

lol have an aa or jak sit in the woods with a obs and a dust on the side of the map. forget about him. when he kills np in the trees, push whatever lane you were going in the first place. did i mention this is how i jak and aa rat? with tp boots... by this time, im getting my kit. np pretty has his... this strat goes with a tinker too. they always tp to creep and blink into trees. have a ward and then give em everything. the best way to counter my strat is for tinker and np to roll witrh the team. youll just be in the woods by yourself for 10 mins before you realize hes not going to tp. if you make them do it right, youre going to kill np/tinker every time.
