I posted it on reddit after noticing it after many 12f attempts and then noticing most people knew the Cryogunner had some erratic behavior sometimes but couldn't tell why. Enviosity most likely knew it before though, and as always made a great gameplay video and will reach far more people as well. It makes me glad to see youtube content like this as well. One of the things I wish to see but it's out of my level to actually create is some guides to actual frame key press guides/tutorials for dodging attacks most people have problems with like the fire ball floor mechanic, the anemoboxer punch, the Lawachurls' attacks etc. I feel a guide to "when do you actually press Shift to dodge" or something would be super well received and useful.

@Yrj art spamming is especially difficult when we are faced with the water fatui and cyro fatui simultaneously. Also if the anemo boxer is with them it is further more difficult. This is the case in new albedo quest act 2. I am struggling too much. Also my characters are not very high level (40, average damage is 300). I came to the game late, and only played mondstadt and didn't got time to play liyue (exam purposes). So having a really hard time.

There are a few gems here and there for boss fights, like for Childe’s attack patterns during his fight, or Andrius’ attack patterns, etc. TSoul22, I’ve found, is a good source for these types of things, but I appreciate videos like this which have the smaller bosses that are still relatively challenging.

So this is a sad small story which actually happened today but basically I was fighting a small trio of Fatui. There was an Electro,Hydro and a Pyro. Well I decided to go after the hydro one because yeah he heals and he’s a pain if you don’t go after him. But when I killed him the electro Fatui immediately went into is power up phase and said “I will end you” and his tone was very much full of pure hatred and anger and I was like, “okay that’s to coincidental he’s mad because one of his allies just died right in front of him”. I felt guilty afterwards because it seemed like he full out powered up to avenge his hydro, comrade death. In a way I feel like the Fatui we see when we’re out and about are really good friends when there are no enemies around. They may be annoying but its sad...especially with the Geo fatui when he says, “finally some quiet” after he dies and it’s like he was waiting for a day where he could finally be at peace with the world he was born in and he finally got that wish and no longer had to fight and suffer loss.

Honestly, "don't be scared of attacks" is probably the best advice for any fast-paced action game, not just Genshin Impact. But, in Genshin Impact, you can easily avoid most attacks by simply dodging *into* attacks as opposed to dodging away from attacks.

I just want everyone to know that although Hydro shields are primarily weak to Electro, they are also vulnerable to Cryo. And an easy way to take down water shields is you can Cryo them to freeze them. And then if you have Anemo MC, you can use your E skill. It will absorb the cryo and simultaneously swirl that.. I did this and it was ripping Hydro shields.

Nice vid, man! Appreciate it! I know now some things that I didn't know before! a quick note about fatui, the reason fatui is one of the hardest to fight is when they are not alone. During the 2nd fischl event, as a catalyst dps user, it is so hard to fight them because they are in group. The electro one usually with the cyro one. When you got hit by the cyro, you move slower, drain stamina faster. Hence, the electro one could charge you up. This is what it makes frustating. It's the same like fighting Hydro and Cyro abyss mage at the same time.

exactly guys! i was just rewatching the video, i noticed that when the cryo fatui went down he said "Ahhh mazi" which i think probably means "That's bad" or "Oh crap" or "Oh shit" and when the anemo fatu helps him he says "Tate" which means "get back on your feet" 7:18 and at 7:30 he says "Mada ouatti nai" or something like that which means either "this isn't over yet" or "you're not done yet" (to his buddy) that shows how concerned he is for his buddy

I never knew I could walk behind that fatso ಥ‿ಥ I sacrificed my xiangling so many times accidentally because of him ;-; On a side note, I finally got to floor 8 following your tips and tricks mentioned for the said floors! I had to readjust my focus on some teams coz I had Chongyun and xingqiu on team 2 so they made the floor 7 pretty much trivial on their side. But still, knowing who to go after first really helped in clearing the floors for me massively. Hope they release another abyss in the future so that we can have more content from you xD

One other fact about the Geo Fatui: Just like how Amber's Barron Bunny can break geo shields due to "explosion" damage, all of Klee's attacks can do the same.

Nice video ! I just want to bring more precisions regarding Geo Skirmisher's shield : It's not really the Overload reaction itself that damages the shield, but rather the explosion it generates instead. It's like there is a secret... "feature" ? Dunno how to call that but, *Explosion* do seem to exist in the game as a "feature". That's why things like Amber's Baron-Bunny works on it, despite only doing pyro damage. Same goes for Klee's auto and charged attacks, and I suppose for every other ability or object (like those pyro-slimes bomb-barrel) that triggers *Explosion* !

As much as Klee's auto-attack triggers an explosion too, but is not an "explosion" itself because an "explosion" here doesn't do damage. It's like an effect, or something like that. Like, you got "Overload damage + explosion" when you combine Electro + Pyro. And "Pyro damage + explosion" with Klee's auto-attack. "Explosion" is like a side effect added to certain abilities (or objects). I think we're saying the same thing, it might be my wording, I'm not a native english speaker so sorry for that ahah

@@MsJerem741 I searched about it and found out that explosion is a physical effect and not an elemental effect. It generally happens when a claymore user(especially pyro ones, not sure though) transfers his elements into his weapon and attacks. For example: when you use Diluc's E it causes the enemy to bounce off the ground, much like Klee's charged attack. Geo Shields are easily broken by claymore users. Overloaded causes an explosion, and hence useful to break geo shields, as it works like a claymore user is constantly attacking the shield. Baron bunny works like that as well. I have Klee and I think her normal and charged attacks have explosion as a bonus physical reaction. All in all, I think there are certain factors behind the "explosion" effect and I think the game should specifically mention about that. Sorry for the long paragraph, I'm not a native English speaker as well! :)

a small tip for fighting skimishers when farming for insignias, you can swirl to break their shield, so if there were a group of 3, electro, cryo and hydro, you can use the cryo guy to break the electro shield and electro guy to break the hydro shield, you just need to make sure your swirl absorbs the right element

her charged attacks also knocks up cryo fatui every single time when he's in normal mode (not down and not shielded). she sometimes knocks up other fatui but it's not consistent. I use charge attack to stop him from doing a cryo spray, and to reposition him so I can hit multiple enemies at the same time.

He deals damage when he throws the punch after the wind up. Dash at the right time and you won't take damage.

These new skills you are talking about only appears when they're affected by auras. As for anemo boxer 'black hole' I've observed envi dodged it by timing it with specific character's ulti. Watch his 10-3 he dodged it using kaeya's ult to avoid further damage from both boxer and gunslinger 3-shot in a row.

Wow, that is really valuable informations, i most probably never would have realised that you can break the ice fatuis tracking. Also, i did not know about the pick up move of the Anemo fists. Spent the last 2 weeks to gear 2 teams up for the abyss and i wanna go Floor 6 to 12 (if i can manage it) a day before the reset (i think it is monday). These tips came just in time. Thanks a ton!
