Good morning Marius, this is the best advice you can give to the viewers. My husband believes in that sprinkling of bone meal around the plants especially roses, then again, he uses it for everything, and it does make the plants strong. This is the biggest secret of strong plants, even though sometimes you buy a plant and it is a bit poor looking, if you can enrich the soil for the plants, you are on a winner. It was good to hear from you giving sound advice and those roots do look good on that seedling. Do take care, have a great weekend, kind regards.

Thank you so much for your very informative videos, I had a problem this week with a bit of root rot and has just watched your video so jumped into action, I’ve grown clivias for a few years but basically planted and left to sort themselves out and they’ve bloomed in spite of my neglect, however I’m inspired to take my clivias more seriously and have started buying the colours…my soil is well draining as we live at coast so quite sandy…two questions..1 please can you do video for directly planted clivias, eg. Water, light etc. and 2. Have you written a handbook as I think a lot of people would be interested in having one on hand..thank you again, your videos are such a help…

Thanks for your advice. I've followed your steps in the past with collecting seeds and germination in medium you recommended with good results. The addition of bone meal will be very helpful to get stronger plants. Here it's more common to find blood and bone meal as a shelf product. Hopefully this will work similarly. 👍
