the oil in the salad ... the juice in the giant beans is for dipping into the bread .... I hope one day you will also visit Thessaloniki .... try a sweet Panorama triangle.... a bagatsa that in Athens is called only with cream .... a bagatsa you call a sheet of dough and inside it has many flavors .... sweet zouzouk delight with nut .... to try a Macedonian (Greece) kebab with pork, chicken and for your friend with lamb 😊 and Halkidiki in a fish tavern to eat fresh fish .... try also syrupy sweets whose origin is from the Greeks of Asia Minor and Constantinople.... and you know Thessaloniki we drink Cold Coffee Frappe

I loved the video! And your commentary was to notch! Let me just say; why is no other Greek commenter saying anything about how much oil was in the giant beans (Lima beans)? I was kind of concerned but it looks really yummy!

Diporto (two doors mean in greek) should change name to "Ohh my god!!" Every tourist or local eat for first time he start mumble "Ohh my god!!" Very old restaurant with original tastes. Its unbelievable really. The chickpea and beans are my favorite. The only place that i eat sardines.

The thing is that our moms and grandmoms cook these foods and they do it better than most of these restaurants..we eat healthy (kinda) here in greece ! Keep up the good work and stay away from mainstream places when you come back to greece..and remember there are so much more than Athens and "famous" islands.

The food in Diporto is actually the everyday Greek household cuisine. Mostly vegeterian or 100% vegan. Most tourists only know Souvlaki and Gyros :(
