NATO was/is a concept Stalin, the Soviet Union, and the new Putin regime never understood. NATO was/is never a threat to them. NATO is a DEFENSIVE alliance. That is a big difference than what the Warsaw Pact was. This isn't Red vs Blue. This is Red vs anyone they decide to invade unprovoked. (2:06)

NATO is nothing more but a loaded gun in the hands of a criminal. The existence of NATO allows the West to loot countries without them striking back. Allow me to give some quotes: Russia’s task after losing the Cold War is to provide resources to prosperous countries. But for this they only need 50-60 million people, - British Prime Minister John Major The smaller the population in this territory (USSR and Russia), the more successful its development by the West will be. - Advisor to the President of the United States Zbigniew Brzezinski Trim Russia down to 50 million,” using for this the uprising of 60 nations... - Lech Walesa

America and Britain promised to defend Ukrainian sovereignty and borders including Crimea if they gave up their nukes. In 1994. ruZZia made the same promise. Send them home. The Budapest memorandum was the world's first nuclear de-proliferation treaty. It wasn't a small thing.

@@abrahamdozer6273 No! The Washington regime doesn’t change, only the name changes from Dem. or Rep. They’ve become a Uniparty, with most of them as warmongers. The CIA’s scheme to oust the democratically elected president of Ukraine in 2014 was planned to eventually stage a coup / regime change in Russia (we’ve staged over 60+ regime changes over the past hundred years -- just ask John Bolton, the cheerleader for this type of governance. Inroads by BlackRock, Monsanto, and other Maga corporations have already been made with the purpose of reaping the riches of Ukrainian’s agriculture and mineral wealth. The plan was to break up Russia for the same intentions. It will be difficult for Washington to continue pursuing the status quo, as our reign of Number One in world dominance is rapidly eroding, and we’ll soon become a third world entity, if we survive what’s ahead.

Wonderful speech however the time has come to show the world NATO has some balls rather than restraining Ukraine on the battlefield. Who came to America's aid after 911? Ukraine did!! Who coerced Ukraine Ukraine to demilitarize and give up their nuclear capabilities? America did. Where is USA now? It's time to stop taking give everything to Ukraine to end the war on Ukraine's terms not on USA terms.

If he wins the election and starts acting out/bullying again to his allies like he did the last time, he will be made fun of again. America first would result in America alone. This would be bad for the American weapons industry and it's own security and standing in the world. Europe is gearing up and getting ready for a possible war. Many NATO countries buy their weapons from the US. But there are other big weapon manufacturers in the world. France, Sweden, UK and Germany to name a few. European countries could switch to them in an instand. So, I hope the USA will stay in NATO regardless of there is a new president or not.

It is a shame Canada is not paying its share. Adm. Rob Bauer, NATO's top military officer, recently shared that NATO countries including Canada, must do more to prepare for war. The thought of war must be considered even as we do not want to imagine it. Many want this Ukraine war to go away, but that does not appear to be happening anytime soon. The NATO Admiral gave a 50 year time frame. “The tectonic plates of world power are shifting, and when that happens "earthquakes" / war is all but inevitable.” The younger "me" generation wants no risk while they focus on comforts/pleasures of life. This mentality must be checked given the war, growing threats and unprecedented tension we see in Europe and the Asia Pacific. He also argued that the private sector must consider security and defence into its calculus and practices. Supplies can be cut off by foreign companies who become adversaries. Businesses must work with the government to find solutions to the problem and not be merely focused on money. Younger people (men) should consider enlisting in the Canadian Reserves to bolster our defence stance out of service to their country. I can say there is true honor serving in the Canadian Army Reserves for 2 years myself. Sadly, it has been reported from Ukraine, that many young men are hiding from conscription in their girlfriends houses, or draft dodging in other ways. God forbid that kind of cowardice would be named among "strong and free Canadians." "It is not that far away." He said. A recent weapons factory fire in Germany was linked to enemy activity. Potential conscription into the military service is no longer inconceivable in our day and age. We must think about it. If we want peace, we must be prepared to bolster defence and security even as we pray for peace and truly hate the idea of war. We have studied the tragedy of WW2 and the Cold War. May God help us and keep our land glorious and free as we stand on guard thee.

Is Ukraine now part of NATO since Secretary of Defense says NATO will stand by Ukraine?
@ScentlessSun
@ScentlessSun 5 ай бұрын
You can’t formally join while at war. You could immediately invoke article 5 and the entire alliance is at war with boots on the ground. The alliance works as a deterrent so the war should never start to begin with. Ukraine will formally join after the war is over. NATO will continue supporting them until the war is over and they can formally join.
