Not sure if your name and comment hints that you are *the* Jrue Holiday or just a mega-fan, but either is fantastic. I'm not big into the NBA after overdosing on Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen when I lived in Chicago during their reign (and later getting very busy with career, being a husband, and then a father). But a look at Jrue's Wikipedia article shows there is so much more that is inspiring about him than even this video displays.

09 is a fun class to look back on since it's probably more of a very good class than an elite one. You got the obvious highs of Steph and Harden, plus the great secondary stars (Demar, Blake Griffin, Jrue Holiday) and role players (Teague, Pat Bev, Danny Green and Patty Mills), but also has the hilarious screw ups to have some good what ifs (Hasheem Thabeet #2, the Timberwolves picking two PGs and neither was Steph).

I’m a Bucks fan for two decades and Jrue is one of my all-time favorites. Hindsight is 20/20 though, you take the Dame trade EVERY single time. It just didn’t work out in the way we wanted, plus the jury’s still out on it. It was less about Jrue leaving MKE and more about Boston getting him after, along with Middleton's declining health. If he went to any contender not named the Boston Celtics & we remained healthy, no one would think twice about it.
@hirshjaКүн бұрын
@@Mieslk2the bucks front office should have actively seeked out a 3 team trade so they could control where he went. Instead, they left it up to the blazers to decide, and there really wasn’t anyone else who both could offer what the Celtics could, and had the incentive to do so. The green had already attempted to trade Brogdon once that off-season, and that’s never good for locker room cohesion. I will say, though, that even at the time, tearing the team down to that extent was not a good decision. They fired their head coach after they lost a series to the eventual eastern conference champions while Giannis was injured, and then they traded their second most important player for an aging, ball dominant, defensive liability.
