SecretMusicUK I'm interested in getting an Octatrack.. but just purchased the Toriaz SP-16 to try it out. Have you used one yet?
@SecretMusicUK8 жыл бұрын
Hi ! I haven't tried it yet, but it looks interesting, although very different from the OT. I suspect they would complement each other rather swimmingly !

Hi ! Thank you for watching ! Nice suggestion, I will get that together. To be honest though, I would do my warping in Ableton as it sounds much cleaner on full mixes :)

I'm now regretting buying a mpc1000 the day before I bought an Octatrack. honestly would've been fine with just an Octatrack after watching your videos
@fantasyproduct10426 жыл бұрын
Naked Viking you can do amazing things with that combination

The MPC is a different beast though, I find its sound thicker and punchier. Keep both and enjoy the best of both worlds :)

@aikighost heya! yes, i will be modulating all sorts of parameters. I was going to stay within the pages I have covered already (Amp and Playback), but I'm more than open to suggestions! It will definitely be a 2 part video, so much fun to be had with LFO's :)

this is dope thanks for the vid. Really interested in this machine for a jamming setup
@robfordomjones6 жыл бұрын
Just switched from digitakt to octatrack mkii its a big jump...your videos realy helping out...could i ask for a specific slizing video showing how you add the trigs to the sequencer tied in with whats on the screen and also a seperate video on setting up external send effects eg guitar pedals. Various ways this is done in detail. Liked and subbed cant wait for more!!!😊🎛🎚🎧☯🤘🏼🤙
@SecretMusicUK6 жыл бұрын
HI ! It's a big jump indeed, but well worth it, the potential of the OT is truly limitless. Enjoy :) I'm preparing other videos, stay tuned and thank you for the suggestions !

@JoelisRich You're welcome :) I try to go as in depth as possible, although I am very aware I haven't explored everything mysef yet, it's such a deep machine ! G;ad you like this one!

@SecretMusicUK Cant wait. Can we see some effects being modulated by LFOs please? I'm currently saving for my octatrack and would like to hear some examples of how the filter effect sounds on synth samples, how does the resonance sound, etc.
@solomonjenkins95056 жыл бұрын
THANK YOU JESUS THANK YOU LORD fuck i get so angry when people mention how to randomly assign slices and not how to manually select a different slice per trig but with trig locks and using knob b with slices enabled IT MAKEZ SENSE THANK YOU LORRRD

Haha, I'm glad to be of help :)

sir please I have another pertinent question! Every time I press a track button the track starts recording, I can't get to the track page of any of my tracks, the red led is stuck on track 1. I have no idea what I did, some wrong button combination I assume PLEASE HELP ME LORDD!

@SecretMusicUK13 жыл бұрын
@discospring hehe nice one :) thx for the feedback!
@Mondriantestpattern13 жыл бұрын
wow thanks again man. I had never quite thought of the slices in that way. Your videos are like steriods. I still have to work at it but I now seem to have an unfair advantage.

thank you for the advice, will look into it :)

@krakou2 I'm not 100% sure about what you mean, but the LFO's can only modulate parameters of their own tracks. Maybe you are thinking about a way to assign multiple LFO's to one track, MachineDrum style?
@SecretMusicUK13 жыл бұрын
@hydrogxn next one is in the works ! LFO's :)
