For someone who is such a combative warrior on the field he sounds like such a calm and down to earth funny guy off it. Great show Guys!

Having watched Bakkies Botha, Brodie Retallick and Eben Etzebeth for many years I can say that RG Snyman is probably the most chilled out lock forward in the game. Even on the pitch he manages to crack a smile despite the intensity of the game. And what a beast of a player he is but that goes without saying.

Love the show! RG Snyman and Eben Etzebeth are the best locking combination ever. Victor and Bakkies come very very close.

Very difficult to conclude but the physicality in years past was much more..

Huh..? RG and Eben don’t lock together… they both play 5 😂

injuries notwithstanding, RG is such an incredible athlete and player. The physicality, the hands, the offload game. also a great team guy and a lekker sense of humour to boot. Such an asset to the Springboks. We're lucky to have this guy.

Great interview guys. It’s lovely to hear from the tough guys in world rugby. Like others, I am surprised how calm and down to earth these guys are.

He'll be joining Leinster as a senior player because all of their locks are all so young... even if he never plays, he'll be able to pass on so much knowledge; a great signing for Leinster!

Again another great showJim and Andy and what a wonderful interview of Saffa's very own Viking with Biggar as well. There's no harm in having players around the world who come together every once in a while to work towards a common goal. Not sure it'll work for all nations but they should not be afraid to try and think outside the 'loyalty' box for once. And yes, I'm with Snyman and I'm sure that majority of NZ and Saffa rugby fans and players alike also don't want to lose the annual matches between these two sides. It's too great of a competition to forego. Much like the Aus and AB's Bledisloe games.

A more nimble RG could have been a centre. Showing off when he catches the lineout with one hand. (Matfield did it a bit too). Awesome dude.

He was the only munster forward that seemed scared me as leinster/Irish supprorter. He didn't play often tho. On the other side I loved to see POM carbery zebo coming to town because they are so over rated by munster fans. Now this young Ahearn lad can pull off some magic now. Before the RG move I wondered if Ahearn may be tempted East when he gets shafted. And waterford is nearly south leinster anyway. More than happy with RG coming over from the dark side.

In Afrikaans R is pronounced ‘Errr…’ just how you pronounce ‘Air’, but with a hard ‘R’ at the end; the G sounds like ‘G plus ear 👂’! The G is pronounced like the Germans pronounce ‘ch’ like in a word ‘bach’ , like the Spanish pronounce a ‘J’ when they say ‘Jesus’, like how the Arabic pronounce ‘gh’! So let’s take German to illustrate how RG is pronounced: it will basically be ‘Airrrrr (drag the r) followed by German Ch + Ear’!!! Airrrr Ch Ear!

Munster paid him, he almost never played for us, and then when he leaves he goes to Leinster? No loyalty I guess. There was no big deal available in France? The fact that the Munster players are cool with him is an indication of why this Munster culture is a long way short of the one that was winning Heineken cups.

As he explained in the video; He wanted to stay in Ireland. Partially for the sake of his wife Nienaber is at Leinster. Munster weren't looking to re-sign him. So what was he supposed to do?
@patrickkeane206710 ай бұрын
@truthbetold8233 Go anywhere but Leinster. He shits on about staying in Ireland. He wasn't in any hurry back after the World Cup. Was happy enough staying in SA collecting his paycheck. Go to Bath , anywhere but nearest rivals.
