You should really check your facts before posting a video... we DO have the difference in audio in europe, the very least in Denmark - You will only get 7 speakers unless you go for the long range awd. Very important thing for people to know!

Important to understand Tesla do make configurations changes within weeks on hardware underneath the skin, and on the surface. These changes aren’t aways known or published. Therefore, it’s all subject to change and it probably has done from the many weeks ago the video was published. However I will pin the comment to make others aware of the latest position 👍

For the extra money you get much better audio (In my opinion), fog lights (really help in the Danish weather, and the AWD (which is fantastic the few weeks of snow each year and in heavy rain). On the downside, you will have to change the front tires more often on the AWD, you will have lower range and you will have a lower turn radius. I think it's worth it, but I'm also from the dark Jylland and drive a lot on small roads and listing ALOT to music. Hope this helps!

What would be ace (not going to happen) but a performance RWD only variant. Something with close to 400bhp Long Range battery pack and only a rear motor.

In the RWD Model Y, it isn’t class leading by any means. You feel the imperfections of the road. But it ain’t bad by any means. Definitely room for improvement, but day to day its good. If you want perfect comfort like suspension this isn’t it. But equally its good enough that it won’t bother you day to day. Take a test drive and find out?

I wonder would you have any insight on a related topic that is affecting a buying decision (apologies for the lengthy post): there appears to be a quirk in the UK pricing on the new Model 3 LR RWD variant where the 2 year PCH lease is significantly more expensive than the more costly LR AWD (£417 vs £368). For a 3 year lease normalcy/logic is restored (£339 vs £376). The same configurations in other markets do not have this kink in pricing, e.g., US it is $286 for the LR RWD 2 year lease vs. $336 for the LR AWD. Looking at the Model Y in the UK, logical pricing is in effect for the comparable variants, i.e., £319 for LR RWD 2 year lease vs £369 for the LR AWD. Would you have any idea what is going on here? Thank you

Thanks for the comment. Simple answer is no. However, financing is typically smoke and mirrors. There tends to be an optimum term/deposit that benefits the buyer more. Opposite effect for the seller. Once you know which car you want. It’s down to the buyer to do that homework, reap the rewards of it rather then Tesla 🔥

I think one benefit of the rwd variant is a better turning radius. Might help with parking etc. Also the fog lights are not on the rwd. For me the rwd is the way to go. But i’m waiting for Juniper at the moment.

Ordered the long range rwd, you charge it up to 331 miles. Dunno why is it advertised as 373 miles.

Same here , a bit disappointing that it does not even get close , had a long range model for three years and the charge mileage was always on point , even Tesla fob you off when I complained,

Hi, You mention that the LR RWD and LR AWD has no difference to the premium interior in Europe, where is the source of this information? In addition, if I configure a LR RWD on their page and switch it to a LR AWD, it seems that on the outside fog lights are added... I hate that they are not being transparent about these things...

This is something I have been struggling to get a clear answer on. I am torn between the new LR RWD and the LR AWD. Big difference in price so I am interested if there is any benefit, other than 0-60 time, in spending the extra cash ? All I can find so far is the fog lights don’t come with the RWD. Of course I’d like the extra oomph but I am asking myself if it’s worth the extra £200 per month on my company’s EV scheme and Tesla don’t seem to be very clear when it comes to definitive spec differences (I was just going to avoid this an go for polestar 4 but the early reviews from those who’ve taken delivery in the UK are concerning!)

The Polestar 4 seems to suffer from software issues, which is starting to be a trend from Geely... EX30, EX90, Polestar 4... I am leaning towards the LR AWD as I feel they have done something cheaky to keep the cost down, while advertising it as the exact same... But I am also considering the Skoda Enyaq and Xpeng G6

Yes I get that impression re the Geely vehicles. I was sold on PS4 but really don’t want to have the hassle of what appear to be chronic (and in some cases seemingly unsafe) software issues. I am inclined to agree with the Tesla. There must be more than just the omission of fog lights in that RWD version. Maybe i am just a cynic !

@@timmanc As a Tesla owner for three years that rented a Polestar 2 for two weeks I can say that Polestar is absolute dog shit. At one point it got so bad and dangerous (software glitching and driver 'assistance' having lots of errors including emergency braking on the highway) that my wife would not get in the Polestar again.

Hi Adam, thanks for the tips. I would like to just confirm with you that the Model Y LR RWD 2025 has the premium sound, as I seen some sources online saying otherwise? I ordered it from Tesla UK and I believe they just arrived from china by vessel. Please let me know if in UK we get premium sound on that model as that would definitely be a deal breaker for me. Model Y RWD LR looks like it does have premium audio. If you go onto the order page, click “feature details” under the black and white interior options and scroll cross.
