What an absolutely fantastic, zero b*llsh*t tutorlal. Really didn't realise the degree to which you'd be breaking down the fundamentals here. Might be worth cracking the chapters apart into separate videos. There's certainly not a tonne of content out there on Avenger 2, so this was gold dust. Here's a beer or two on me. Cheers mate.

This was an excellent video. Thank you for making the concepts digestible and applicable via showing it on different synths. I actually bought an Arturia MicroBrute to just mess around and get better at sound design, and your video was totally applicable to a hardware synth like the MB.

Nicely and perfectly covered BASE with nuances and gotchas. Very nicely produced lesson, thanks! Next step would be further developing taste and making sounds that are actually pleasant, but that can be subjective.

Yup, you give people the tools and they have to decide what they want to build.

Nice tutorial! Just upgraded to Avenger 2.0 and its scary at 1st, as I have had it for a couple of years and barely used it. I use Vital a lot, as well as Pigments and Phase Plant. They are 3 very different synths. . Seems Avenger can do just about anything and the sound designers behind it create some amazing patches. Hoping they add MPE at some point, as that would make it the go-to synth.

MPE would be amazing!!!

Brillant keep em coming. Be good to show how to create the fundamental sounds for a Bass, Lead and Pad. It would be good to hear a sound from another source like from a track and create it. The lead sound from a D&B track called wheres jack the ripper by Groove rider is one sound id like to re create.

One topic of interest to me would be preferred controller mapping, like DJTT Fighter, MidiMix, .... I am sure you got into some decent hair pulling on this.

Actually have a solid system for mapping, ill make a video on it.

serum is still king for sound design because of its layout. Avenger requires alot of page swapping which is not very good to get a good fast flow.
@CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE Жыл бұрын
Good point. For me, the features in avenger make it worth it for any sort of page swapping.
