These Symbaroum videos are tremendous. Appreciate effort you put into researching, scripting and producing these.

Excellent video. Thanks for doing all the research. Fascinating lore. Symbaroum is the most beautiful game that I own but have never actually played. The art is amazing and the setting is super cool.

I demand more lore videos for Symbaroum! ᵖˡᵉᵃˢᵉ I love your videos!

Have you watched the rest of the lore video already? Secrets of Goblins Secret History of Humans Philosophy of Symbaroum. Making these, I found that I like making lore videos. But I also don't know what the next topic should be. I don't want to scrape the bottom of the lore barrel.

I guess you know that seeds in real life also have this "ability" called dormancy, that allows the seed to "awaken" and activate its growth only under certain conditions of the soil and climate. This aptitude of the seed wasn't there from the start of the plant kingdom but is an evolved adaptation for survival, posterior to the appearance of the first brackens, long, long ago... That is why and how a seed can rest for as long as it needs before the right conditions come to trigger its awakening. Isn't it mind-blowing?

Symbaroum has 3 truths what ambrians think they know. What the elves think they know. And the truth that you can only get by playing the game that you and your GM discover. In your own world or in the original campaign. The game is made so you won't know the truth. Just by playing the game and the big campaign to the world you can learn some of the secrets. Most ambrians (know that the elves take their children) And if you see an elf in the forest, run for your life because they will kill you. Exploring the world and finding the secrets is one of the reasons to keep playing the game.

Thanks for these insightful videos, I am switching to Symbaroum and the legend/lore you have provided is great!!! Do you have any house rules you could recommend?
@Sebbaasdungeon Жыл бұрын
I'm playing the 5e version of the game. No house rules, yet.

Great video, thanks a lot for all your synthetic work ! A quick question : where did you find references to "Lenn the cartographer" or "Lenn the left" ? I can't seem to find it in the books ... Thanks a lot !

Lenn is the Changeling a friend of mine played in our last campaign. He's not in the books. 😅

While Sebbaa is not that kind of channel, I do wonder if he would ever consider doing a hour long video on the rough points the Throne of Thorns campaign takes through the story.
@Sebbaasdungeon Жыл бұрын
Like a dramatic narration of the campaign?
@gendor5199 Жыл бұрын
@@Sebbaasdungeon It could be like that, Maybe a re-telling of the campaign you ran, "The adventurers fought Malrogan and then they went to Davokar and malrogan followed them there, defeating him they went into the Tomb of Dying Dreams in search for treasures". The thought stemmed mostly from me finding myself with readers block rather than writers block as a blockage from reading through the campaign books myself and setting up a rough outline "Character 1 appears here in this adventure and re-appears in this adventure if not killed, this item will be important here so it can be useful to seed the information earlier, this character will be a potential ally later, maybe it can be good for the players to hear rumors an adventure earlier or two." Making a story of it running all the way through would be a huge task, something I would maybe expect to be on a backburner and working on it while inspiration strikes.

Where does it speak of elf/troll procreation? I was considering stealing ideas from warhammer, where elves have to mate continously during certain phases, sometimes with different mates to reduce genetic sicknesses, to carry forth a child.
@Sebbaasdungeon Жыл бұрын
I found no mention of elven procreation anywhere in the rules. No children in the halls of thousand tears, no pregnant woman, no elven couples, nothing. So, I think they just leave all of that stuff to the fairies. The information on the Goblin / Troll lifecycle is in the advanced player's guide. I also made a video on Goblins, Trolls and Ogres a few weeks ago.
